I might itat that price, but my hype died when I saw the gameplay.

I originally thought it was survival horror.

It's nothing like Dark Souls... or whatever "strandlike" is... It's just an open world FPS (except with magic instead of guns) with horror elements...

A Japanese mythology first person thingy is pretty niche, I'd guess.

If I could get a PS5, I'd buy it. But I guess a significant portion of the potential fanbase is in the same boat as me in that regard.

I think you're confusing that with Deathloop which was also a Bethesda published FPS for PS5, had roguelite elements, and also hasn't sold decently to expectations.

looked cool but i didn't expect it to be a solo left 4 dead run

oh and you can level up wtf, i thought it'd be more on the horror theme but shooting stuff with your fingers makes me just want to play with a bunch of guns like l4d or dead space, god i miss that game

It's kinda repetitive and gets boring

After the reviews I'm fine to wait for Gamepass.

Ended up getting Deathloop for cheap but I don't think I'll do that for Ghostwire.

Please wait until it hits $15 USD or less. Ive been playing Ghostwire Tokyo these past few weeks and its such a boring game. The combat becomes repetitive within the first two hours. Almost every enemy encounter feels the same. The setting is really cool, though.

This, I bought it for 45 and regretted it. I finished the game in about 9 hours, there is maybe 4 or 5 enemy types in the game with 3 bosses. The powers are just guns but you shoot them with your fingers instead and you unlock all of them 2 hours into the game. Outside of that its a standard open world game, climb the towers, collect the things, do the side quests.

Did they ever fix the framerate? I remember DF going over every mode and not a single one is without constant dropping.

Waiting for it to come to Gamepass.

Wasted my money buying this trash at full price.

Its a mediocre game. And apparently theres only a handful of powers too strong for their own good so you end up using just those a few hours in the game. Great visuals though.

So, Far Cry with magic or something? Seems like the sort of largely forgettable thing that would make for a decent $10 purchase several years after release, if that's the case.

I was so interested in this game after the reveal trailer but it looks like it got reworked into what we got. Would have loved to see Nakamura's version.

Yea its Magic Far Cry in Tokyo more or less, I haven't played Far Cry since 3 but I think theres less to do in it than the standard Ubisoft game. The setting is interesting and its probably the closest we'll get to a Jujutsu Kaisen game that isn't an arena brawler or mobile game. 20 dollars is probably the most I'd tell someone to pay for it. Its a 6 - 7/10 game at best.

The art design and the style of Tokyo looks really cool. The gameplay looks basic as fuck.
