I wouldn't care about the guy if he asked people to put their carts back, see if they do or don't, and then leave them alone. But that's not what he does. He doesn't drop it. He doesn't see that people are getting agitated by him. He just continues to do what he was doing and continues to poke the bear. The only reason you think this is ok is because you think there's this epidemic of carts slamming into cars.

Yeah, it fucking sucks that that shit happens and people who don't put their carts back/secure them before leaving are dicks, but you're also a huge asshole if instead of putting it back yourself, you constantly annoy people that have other shit they want to do with their life then have a camera shoved in their face.

Like I said; if Cart Narcs really wanted people to put their shit back, he wouldn't be antagonistic but that also wouldn't get the views that he does. Because "haha fuck those guys, I need my entertainment today."

In this thread I just told you my pharmacist's car had her back taillight broken out. And last year I had to jump out of my car at Lowes to keep a runaway cart from slamming into the back of someone's SUV (spoiler alert: I didn't make it.)

Even if I lost my temper, violence towards a non threat is still wrong. The reason I think it's okay for lazybones to be bothered (within reason) is because these assholes block spaces for those with physical disabilities.

I mean tbf, some people do need shit to help them walk, ala a cart or a walking cane.

Still not an excuse to leave something in the wind zone, but it could be an actual disability that youre just writing off because theres nothing obvious for you to see.

To me: The point seems to be to harass/get a rise out of people for entertainment using pretty thin lines of justification. Like, sure, put the cart back, but also is it really worth making an entire public scene about it if you don't? It isn't really proportionate at all and it's not shocking that the people who do this also have been caught harassing the homeless.

I think people want a reason to feel justified watching a guy put down people who are mildly shitty. But after the anti-mask shit that America dealt with for like two years, it's really hard for me to care about something like this because we know how insignificant it is compared to stuff that's way more common and elicits no reaction at all.

If people are entertained by this that's fine but when the guy running this turns out to be a terrible human being or eventually gets seriously hurt because someone freaks out on him, nobody should be surprised.

First of all no thin lines, it's a win win. He gets ratings for the radio show while also doing a public service by raising awareness against the lazybones. Loose carts can cause thousands of dollars worth of damage to a vehicle so to me yes, completely worth it.

Second of all, don't try to equate what the Cart Narc does to such despicable acts as picking on the homeless.He's politely asking people, who just pushed a cart around a store mind you, to please return it to the corral so as to not block spots or do damage, which is perfectly reasonable. Shaming them within the confines of the law is also perfectly reasonable if they don't comply. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

If that were the case then why doesn't the Cart Narc return his own carts to the corral?

Children are most at risk. Something like 66 children a day are injured or killed in shopping cart related incidents in the US. Now most of that is falling out of the cart, but getting hit by a stray cart is the second leading cause of cart related injuries and death in children.

One time a stray cart destroyed my small town of Wickywickywoo in Wisconsin. I saw it coming but I couldn't do anything: Like a car being flung by a tornado, this stray cart rammed through the parking lot, knocking down the elderly and obese with the ease of a knife to butter.

You never forget the screams. One lady was yelling out to her four year old, but as she tried to save him, that's when a second stray cart knocked her ass right to the ground. Her child didn't stand a chance. We were being terrorized, all because Boggler didn't put the fucking cart back, that lazy fuck.

At this point dozens of carts had been freed. As Boggler tried to escape, two carts hit his pickup truck, immediately causing a massive explosion that ignited the gas leak in the area. I only survived because I was under the rubble of the Walmart after a bunch of carts ran into the side of the store that was about fifty years old, immediately causing the wall the collapse on me. A kind stranger used their body to protect me, but they died in the process.

Only after the next town's police came over did the madness end. I truly wish the Cart Narcs were here that day, so much tragedy could've been avoided.
