Mattel owns both toylines and would be competing with themselves if they brought it back. They'd also likely lose the Universal license. That's why Dino-Riders has some toddler-aimed toys, but doesn't have a cartoon return or a proper toy update. This is supposed to be the end of the Jurassic World series, so I don't know if that means Mattel is losing the Jurassic Park/World licenses with it. I actually can't really think of any that I would want from the 80s cartoons I watched. My two favorite 80s cartoons is thundercats and the mysterious cities of gold, and both actually got newer shows at some point. (Mysterious cities of gold got one in 2012.....and it aired in just european countries for whatever reason).
