Math Murderer 05/22/22 7:37:13 PM #1:	Can you think of any sport where a game ending in a 39 - 4 final score would be anything other than an absolute rarity? I'm asking this because I officiated an American Football game yesterday that ended in that score. 39 - 4 has never happened in the NFL, and to my knowledge it has happened only once in College Football: https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/boxscores/1889-11-02-cornell.html Soccer, Baseball and Ice Hockey are sports where I wouldn't expect one team to score 39. Basketball is a sport where I wouldn't expect one team to score only 4. It's not possible in a professional hockey game, an NHL team never really got close to even 20, I think the record is 16.
