Yostar demanded cell shaded manga art for JP appeal and Kong said "fine but you have to do it yourself because we're overworked" so they did and then some fans complained about which styles they liked more so they added a toggle to let you change to your favorite style.

On a related note, assuming they use the same banned word list as SEA, look forward to very fun consortium conversations as everyone tries to figure out what anyone is saying with all the asterisks in total innocent words. One thing that worked to avoid it is to type what you want then tap outside the entry field so that it displays the message, but doesn't post it so you see what is censored and then add spaces between those letters (or at least this worked on the PC client).

Well I'm in a guild called RatGang, and it's sorta growing on me, but I'm pretty sure I'm still bugged. My chat messages show up like a day later, and I'm still getting the check-in bug

Meanwhile, I'm basically given up on A.Hilde. Not because I don't think I can pull her in time, more that my team doesn't even really need her. My current team just melts most A.Hilde, and I haven't lost a PVP match in a long while.

I'm going full striker team, and it's really powerful. I want to build Lin Xien though, cuz I plan to get some of the striker mechs later, like Lincoln, which can hit air units. Building Karin on the side to also deal with air units since Striker teams almost have no option against them except for Lincoln

I also want to save the pity for an Awakened Striker anyways

Oh yay Artery Gear is coming out June 19.

Also, I just have to know, so can someone spoil me on something in Counterside?

Lol well he's Hilde's current direct disciple and one of the strongest person shown so far for sure, with Hilde also being powerful

Also I just 3 starred the very hard Valentine event. Had to manual it. But definitely the more I understand the game, the more enjoyable it is. I let the game play itself til I can actually understand wtf is going on when I read the skills or see what's going on on the field.

My team is still incomplete but more than halfway there. No particularly game changing gears yet though

Just be aware that a full striker team probably wont work out long term. If nothing else, you have to raise other roles for the fights that ban specific roles.

Yeah I figured. As long as they don't immediately just screw Strikers, I'm fine

The ship direct attack stuff is also still pretty annoying to me too. Getting your ship to lvl 50 is not a bad way to survive way longer. I'd still save up for a big ship and not go beyond lvl 50 tho

Oh yeah, and I didn't notice that part. I use that prydwen site too, but was just looking through the ships. I didn't know there was a ship building order part to help lol. I think I'll go for GAT since I'm probably going to stick solely with Counters.

This boss is where she's meta.

Enterprise seems tempting, but getting to New Detroit ASAP will absolutely break my current team, and seems like it has longevity. I dunno... I might change my mind if the later contents get too hard too quickly, but it's not like I see any content I can't beat atm

Also let's see if my tier predictions are correct lul, first time seeing it:

Administration Sword Fighter: I give them S rank, and seems they're SS rank in PVP. Their potential was immediately obvious because it almost felt like I was doing double damage, and they also double as dodge tanks

Esterosa: S rank for similar reasons to Admin Sword Fighter, but I guess she sorta falls off. I can see bruisers easily getting outclassed by new releases. Esterosa right now is a pretty unstoppable offensive tank with a huge AOE that almost feels like it hits the entirety of the field on one side of her

Lumi: I can't freaking use her right now lol. She really sucks and feels outclassed by just about everything else I can throw out. But seems she has some use in PVP, which might make sense. She can't really finish off an enemy ship by herself atm though

Yubin: I thought he was like an A or higher because he hard enables my best units right now. He buffs Admin Sword Fighter, Esterosa, and Chifuyu to the point of them being complete juggernauts right now. I haven't lost even to teams like 2k+ my power level with him as the 3rd slot. But he's rated as a B in everything. I guess it's relative, but I don't agree with his B rating for global considering the units that are powerful right now.

Chifuyu: Imo currently the best unit in global pool. She was my first pull, and it was immediately obvious to me I should max her. I'm glad she stays top tier in PVE

Lin Xien: Ok, she's strong in PVE, which is what I was hoping. I guess I'll continue to build her

Reading your units triggers my PTSD. I pitied Rosaria and have doubles of the 4 SSRs I have except for the free "buy with cash" SSR and I get shat on in PvP because I haven't gotten any of the "top tier" SRs either.

It's my team of 3 SSRs + R healer and random SR + R units against teams of 7-8 SSR with that SR witch healer.

Makes me want to reroll -_-

The fight is basically the opposite of Shirokuro.
No RNG involved, if you know what to do, you'll do well.

Hit as many enemies as possible and you'll win.

Jesus fucking Christ. I hate how stupid the AI is in Azur Lane. My vanguard decided to chase a slowass torpedo that was headed downwards off the screen that was nowhere near anyone

I think for that warning it gives you about auto battles with Glow Worm chasing a butterfly while a torpedo approaches, they should swap the torpedo and butterfly <_<

You have A. Hilde though don't you? You can make it up by getting one of the top tier rangers to pair up with her. There's a SSR guarantee ticket in the logins I think. Also most of the SR healers are considered good (Maybe there are only two, but I think both are good).

But I'm almost at Gold rank with everybody here using literally the same team. I don't think the current pool can deal with the supposed Striker Rush comp I'm using, but you'll almost never run into it in ranked, I can tell you that much.

Pulling Chifuyu will be really good in general though, if you can. But with A.Hilde, it might be better to go for a ranger.

Oh I didnt even realize Diablo Immortal was out lol. But Im guessing that the crowd here is more into hero collectors? I tried Diablo 3 on the PS4 and it was a bit too grindy :<

Diablo Immortal strictly speaking isn't a gacha. All purchases are deterministic.

I do have to say I truly, truly, truly hate that Priconne has its new events start not at reset but at 11pm/midnight my time. Almost hate it more than the crappy drop rates.

Wouldn't mind if reset was also then, but it's not. And it is annoying.

Hopefully the consortium issues get fixed soon. Im still just getting a black screen. Im not overly concerned though. SEA had problems too. Different problems, but still problems.

How do you get more of or check how many company dinner cards you have? I just used one per day for each of my dorms because I'm worried they don't replenish daily and don't want to waste them D:

They were added after I had to quit, so theyre new for me too lol. Ive been assuming they dont stack, so I use it every day. Then again they are purchasable in some event shops, so maybe they do stack.

edit: just checked the item description. They stack to 3.

Wow...3 of the 4 opponents in PvP were using the 5 same ships: New Jersey, Vittorio, Aquila, Anchorage, and Shimakaze. Shimakaze was on all teams <_<

Tried swapping out my Haruna in PvP for my hyperinvested Aris (lv74 5*, max skills, lv20 friendship, 3*lv45 exclusive weapon).

It legit made me competitive.
Aris has the unique quirk of piercing everything in line with all attacks. So I placed her in bottom-right corner, she constantly has 2-3 targets in line, including the Shun nest.
What this means is, she shreds Tsubaki and slowly slaughters the backline. Once she fires her EX, everything in line that can't dodge is a corpse and that line is very wide.
She even has the benefit of tanking the Shun EX for a good while, protecting your other backline dps from getting oneshotted.
