I dont nessisarily see Sheep wanting me to claim , to me it looks like when sultan claims its very clear he is telling the truth or lying about it. More or less agreeing with SBell or Ben that usually my claim makes my alignment pretty clear

scummoned page 2, posts a bunch of fluff, doesn't commit to a single read. Hell even the categories on his list were scummish, townish, and ?! then he votes Lopen for because gladiator is a scummy role. In other words, nothing to do with this actual game

Isquen is a bit unorthodox and his reads can be kind of hard to follow but he does actually have reads as town, and he sticks to them even in the face of being told he's wrong. This is not town Isquen

I do enjoy suspecting Ben early I confess, but his reaction has struck me as off. Most of the time I will interact and be able to let go of my thoughts but here it only makes me want to grip them tighter to me.

Notably i feel as if your response to me is very... measured. Is that truly all you have to say in the case of Ben right now? What in this game is particularly of issue to you at present? Other than an admitted tired man in isquen getting lazy and hitting post before checking his work.

On a serious note though, I was kind of hoping you could just trust me and call me town for once. Especially after the positive vibe check. I'm sure you're town so I'm not very enthused to defend myself from you either.

Hello Isquen. You haven't done a lot so far and while I extend new player kindness pretty far it is starting to stretch thin. Additionally Mzero is a player whose reads I find to be usually pretty good. You aren't my top lynch right now but you are probably somewhere in my bottom six 'would care if they died today', which is probably the number of scum we're dealing with. Please try to show some good thoughts going forward!

I think he stumbled over himself a fair bit and got caught up in semantics, but I don't think I can take much from that other than he felt he was under pressure from you. I haven't thought Ben was highly Town once in early D1 since mafia restarted, and that's not changed this game, but I don't take particular issue with any of what he said.

My issue with that mix up is that tidus is new enough that him and Sultan should not have been comparable, now if you had said HB and Sultan, that would have tracked for me so much better.

Well if i said that then it wouldnt be true lol. It was a blank state for a couple players after the year long hiatus though. Just remember how much I offended Sbell a few games ago when I remembered nothing about how he plays

My town reads take time to get going and get better as the game progresses. My scum radar is much better. I have someone better in mind to vote for anyway.

Because of a generic distaste for brown-nosing. I've filtered out Chris as mostly background white noise until I can properly isolate his reads, because day 1 is a whole lotta nothing - and I've already laid my claim groundwork heavy-handedly, it's for him to deduce it.

Not up to date yet but maybe we should just ask Arti if he is a Gladiator or not since its evident its tied to the Isquen matter.

I will say, it strikes me as unusual for a new scum player to blatantly drop hints about their role. I am not a fan of his play thus far, but when he said he has been dropping hints and I look over his posts and see he did it at least once it's like... I'm having trouble seeing the scum motivation to draw a spotlight on himself like that.

I would urge restraint in this case. Something to keep in mind is this is a very big game, which means town has a lot of powers. Game of 21 someone can check in on the newbie acting weird night one. I feel like that's the best EV play here. I am not afraid to swiftly kill a newbie if they goof - in fact the last game I played I did that to tidus in less than three pages of day one. This doesn't strike me as concrete, it's just Isquen is just not on the same wavelength as the rest of us.

Worthy of a power role poking him, but I don't think we should invite a claim out of him today when we have plenty of people to discuss and it would be strange for a new scum player to act in this way from a lot of experience we all have. He isn't Plum or Han with a decade plus experience doing odd things, he's brand new. And also this would be veto'd to hell by a lot of this playerlist if they were his team mates.

When did you find out Sultan was town in the last game?

Unfortunately me being sick with a stomach bug has messed up my sleep schedule, so I may sleep through deadline if I do get some rest. Will try not to but you guys should be aware that I am under the weather.

A couple of things: I'd really, really like if no one claimed today. Not even the person getting lynched! The reason for this is that in large games the 'blanks' that are known as vanillas are more plentiful for town and thus more painful for scum to hit.

The worst case scenario, that we lynch town power, may in fact prove to be overall less damaging than lynching say a vanilla town but having 2 vanillas and another power claimed given scum is sure to have a lot of roles to suppress power if they know where to find it. Looking to mix it up a bit for this town and see if it can't throw scum off balance.

Can't stop anyone from claiming, but I am having a good time and thought I'd throw out the suggestion. It will be quite the slog for scum to try to punish town's power if town's power hides. This also makes it even more likely I die night one, which is my stated goal.
