Well this is something I'm going to disagree with.

While I too am curious how Pokmon fits into this game, I know I am Star Wars related and know that all will be revealed in time, and I know that more flavor info now will only lead to strange meta that can't be explained and that will further lead to bad lynches.

And if we learned anything from last game, Sultan, players that focus more on the game itself and less on the other players tend to be not so much town.

So is it a shit vote? no.

Is your anger over it misplaced? yes.

Agreed. I think this reminds me of Chris and Chang's interactions in D1 of FE Mafia.

I don't think the vote on Chris itself is great from Sultan, but it makes me feel good about him. I don't really expect Scum to go for Chris early unless their name rhymes with Borrik. It feels a bit of a carryover from last game where he's getting irritated because he thinks people are dumb, which seemed like a town tell from him.

Then again, I have underestimated Scum Sultan before. We need more evidence.

I would like it known that post 45 is bad. Plum is one of the few players I wouldn't be voting instantly after seeing something that sets me off like this so early, cause I think that's just how he is with overthinking? Gonna kinda trust Ulti's read and not try to instantly murder him, since I always think Plum is scum, but this really stood out.

Nope. I feel good about you and wanted to fish for a reaction to see if I could make myself feel better. And to make you a lil paranoid if you're scum. Also, I kinda wanted someone else to hop on to decide my first target for me. I barely have any scumreads rn, just a couple strong townreads and a couple weaker ones. But it felt wrong not voting early after not getting to a single time last game. I missed my beautiful little double hash.

You came in very strong. More good analysis in the first post of this morning than an entire D1 from you as scum. And I agreed with practically all of it (the ultimate TownDeath tell, for the uninitiated), so I'm happy to just call you a solid townread for now.

I think arguments about flavor - especially when we aren't sure what's what is a pointless endeavor, and really won't help. At least at this point of the game. It just gets focus on the wrong things.

Chang drawing attention to it could be a way to draw peoples attention to something else, it could just be curiosity. Either way, it depends if they keep bringing it up or not. I'm going to keep an eye on them.

Sultan seems like Sultan.

The one word response was mostly because I had just woken up and skimmed the topic, and had to do something at work. The much smaller part was just to see who responded to it.

I have played twice total. Twice with Sultan, once was town and once I can't remember, but I think was town. They always seems to ask a bunch of questions, and and can get a tad angry sounding.

Once was with Chang. He is playing differently this time, but they also have more experience than previously. And as for Lea's "Chang may be suspicious", I'm not sure how much more you want/need when it's the morning, and has only been 12 hours of posts. Especially from me, who is honestly not very analytical.

Right now, I'm taking Chris's lead.

Sheep seems to be putting a lot of pressure, but as of right now I feel that's a good thing & is mostly trying to gauged how people respond.

I was thinking the fact that you responded to a question almost instantly yet only said a single word unprompted was the scummon part. Idk your timezone and I don't like to take too much of a read from activity, but that sorta lurking is a tad curious. I appreciate critical analysis is hard, especially early in the game and day, but trying to just piece ideas together from interactions for yourself is handy, and it's difficult to expect people to engage with you from one word.

If you're Town, I'd really rather you know you can think for yourself rather than being stuck with no clue in endgame. Or potentially following Scum Chris to our demise (something that we all live in fear of).

I mean, hell, I hate to praise someone for thinking good of me, but you managed an original thought on me at the end of this post!

I can see why you'd say that, and it was a very sketchy move so you can believe what you want there. but it was a case of me skimming through the topic, seeing something going on, and then a quick affirmation that we should stop arguing before doing something away from the game. But again, I can see why you'd think that's a scum move.

Anyways, I'd love to eventually hear more from Red. He basically said that death was scum and then left. When asked to elaborate he said he could, but wouldn't. That's pretty sketchy.

Lopen has it out for Isquen, any reason why? Also Lopen has claimed to be a gladiator.

Frankly, I felt uncomfortable about the train/dogpile on Isquen. His posts were mostly null alignment to me, but seeing a bunch of people pile on a relatively new player on day 1 makes me feel a little bit... skeevy, I guess. I'm always suspicious of that sort of thing.

also i did think as I was falling asleep that Chris could intentionally be calling attention to me to fish for scum players who pile on, which I think is totally within his wheelhouse. After Fire Emblem: Awakening mafia where he also thought I was scum early on he did say he would adjust his read of me.
