Nah, it never was a live service game. You might be thinking of Suicide Squad: To Kill the Justice League which is still up in the air if that game will have live service features if I remember correctly.

Watched a bit of that, says Red Hood uses non lethal bullets that has a piercing effect for armored enemies and then shortly after shows Nightwing shoving some guy off the building...

Rumor is they changed it to 4 player co-op cuz of a marketplace description update. Would be neat.

I think you're thinking of Horizon Forbidden West but that was a crossgen game.

I hate that Red Hood literally punches people with his guns. Its not even a pistol whip, he like, pokes them really hard with the barrel.

I didn't like Red Hood at all. He's buff AF but uses guns so it looks odd to me and then it looks awkward waving his guns around and they don't look like they're doing much damage.
I know they're non-lethal rounds but it just looks too silly.
The magical jumping also looked goofy so I guess it goes with the rest of the goofiness.

Yeah Red Hood looked so much better in the original reveal. Hes way too hulked out, and it looked silly to see such a big dude brandishing two whimpy pistols.

He went from the one I was most excited to use, to the worst looking.

Looks a bit janky and clunky to me. Took my hype a bit down actually.

I think you're thinking of Horizon Forbidden West which was cross-gen. Horizon didn't do well because it came out a few weeks before Elden Ring.

After watching all of this it looks really mediocre honestly. Doesn't have the polish of the Arkham games because of all this loot/stat crap that basically makes every game that chases this trend worse in the long run.

Side missions look ripped right out of Insomniac Spider-man too. Arkham usually tied that stuff into supervillains more. Hopefully it's not just the same random crimes over and over (it will be).

I reckon it's there but they turned it off. It's still very much a loot and stat based game.

Looks slightly better but with a lot of the same issues.

You've got costumes with their own stats and bonuses which is better than how Avengers did loot. But you've got the multiple resources that are being collected, hold X to Dismantle, incremental stat upgrades, etc.

I don't think this stuff really helps beat em up style combat.

Straight up gave Red Hood Air Hike from DMC.

I really want to know how a bullet can be both piercing and nonlethal.

Red Hood in general just looks like a lame character to play as.

His weird ass spirit jumps look out of place

His 'non-lethal but armor piercing bullets' just weakly bounce off enemies and look a bit rubbish.

Nightwing looks slightly better but this combat looks a lot worse without the stylish counters and grapples

Arkham really worked almost like a rhythm game with the combat. Which obviously they can't do with this new level and gear crap.

Yeah, Gotham Knights needed to be a bit faster and have more satisfying sound design. They should've just pulled another Arkham Origins and basically copy the combat system/gameplay from Arkham Knight with Rocksteady's consent.

Damien is IMO. He's annoying AF, all the recent DC animated movies a prime example. I like all the other Robins though.
