So we have been having a great time hanging out, she even gave me a ride home yesterday and we were joking and laughing the whole time, but it's just frustrating not knowing when or how to escalate things.

I'm happy with where we are for now but it feels like things aren't progressing and I really don't want to get friendzoned again.

Think it's time you ask her on a proper date.

And just think, even if you get turned down, at least you'll know how she feels... From what you've shared here though, it seems like she's down and waiting on you to make a move.

Tell her how you feel about her and see how she responds. Or you just straight up ask her if she wants to get her kiss on with you.

I'm not afraid of getting rejected and don't even have a problem asking out girls I don't think are interested in me, but if I get rejected by her after all these signs I'm just not sure where I'll go from there. Like, she made me realize that any girl I thought was into me before clearly wasn't, looking back. So if all these signs aren't enough then I won't know what to look for going forward.

There's definitely other dudes trying to get with her, 1 of them was my buddy I mentioned in the 1st post but he stopped trying after he knew I was into her and has been telling her good things about me. There's some other dudes trying to chill with her too but she's always got plans with me when they try. Those guys have been a lot less friendly to me since she started.

Well got friendzoned again, I really should have saw it coming. This is the first time I was actually shocked about it, usually it's like ohh well why would they be into me anyways after reality set in and tears through the denial. I'm also a lot better than I thought I would be, like yeah I'm disappointed but I don't feel particularly emotional either.

I'm trying to find a silver lining here but it's hard, old me would have went straight into despair so progress I guess.

I wouldnt get your hopes up but some people just want to keep things casual or are slower to develop those kind of feelings

I told her I'm down to still hang out, I liked hanging out with her in and of itself, it wasn't just a means to an end.

I'm not going to expect things to change though, history likes to repeat itself.

It seems like she's being even nicer/more talkative than before, which feels pretty weird. Usually it gets slightly awkward for a little bit after I ask a girl out (at least the ones that want to be friends, I generally avoid the rest afterwards)

Just take it easy for awhile. Sounds like she might be interested but who knows?

People are weird sometimes. While it may not always make sense, it happens. If everybody is saying it, that doesnt make it true. But it means that chances are that its a possibility So, just give it a little time

I mean, I've been just friends with girls I was interested in before, and it's turned out pretty good but it hasn't turned into anything more before so it feels like this is the point of no return. So I am actually ok with just being friends but if we get to that point then it feels like that's all it could ever be.

Yeah, one of my coworkers was telling me how she turned down her bf 5 times before she finally accepted, because she wasn't ready before that. From my experience, though, if they reject you once they'll just keep rejecting you.

Just remember it takes just 1 false accusation to ruin your entire life and she'll throw you under the bus without hesitating since there would likely be zero repercussion for her. So do be careful about the whole thing.
