People complaining about the cameos

they're throw away variants. And they were bossed by the strongest being in any universe. This doesnt mean John Krasinski still cant be Reed Richards or that Patrick Stewart cant be Prof X.

they introduced a character who can travel between multiverses at will. Thats a pretty big deal within the MCU right now and I assume will be a big deal once Kang is formally introduced.

it wasnt a 10/10 marvel movie but it had a lot of great moments.

Wanda had him ready to be ripped apart until he called in an air strike to save his ass. Shes strong

I dont follow the comics but its crazy how Wanda went from a support character to the strongest being in any universe. She was never weak but she was never portrayed as having the ability to solo the Avengers with no difficulty. In the end they still didnt even beat her. She beat herself.

Captain Marvel went 1v1 with Thanos and she beat her while fighting three other people at the same time. Im not saying Wanda wasnt strong but she couldnt stop Thanos and couldnt save Vision but now all of a sudden she is the strongest person in the MCU?

It just didnt seem right.

They served no purpose. Literally accomplished nothing. It just wasnt necessary.

Exactly. Thats why I dont know how you can say the movie was built around them.

Ill have to see it but Wandas motivation just doesnt make sense to me from just hearing the movies plot. Its like she quadrupled down after wandavision in villain territory.

Not sure how her wanting her children doesn't make sense. Also, Darkhold.

This. I haven't heard any hype for Doctor Strange 2. There was WAY more hype for No Way Home and The Batman, and there's more hype already for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

I'll see it tomorrow, I guess. Didn't even know it came out this weekend.

The name of the movie isnt really fitting at all. The name makes it seem like the movie is about the multiverse itself or that the great threat is this multiversal issue or something but it really isnt. The plot is an earth 1 issue and they just happen to travel to other universes throughout the course of the story. I enjoyed it nonetheless and am glad the cameos were just that.

Im curious about the direction that their story is headed though. The post credits scene seems to imply more Multiversal shenanigans are coming, but Baron Mordos arc from the first movie has still yet to be addressed. Mordo decided that there were too many sorcerers on Earth 7-8 years ago at this point in the canon. Why hasnt he tried to kill Strange yet?

The insanely violent methods and theyre literally someone elses and fine if thats what shes going to do backing down at all seems just as confusing.

strange addresses his Mordo in the movie stating hes been a thorn in his side since the first movie, implying theyve had interactions since then.

Like they said, she has the Darkhold now. The post-credit scene of WandaVision already showed her looking pretty possessed and evil, and this movie's showing just how far the book's corrupted her since then.

Strange mentioned to America that Mordo's been trying to kill him since the first movie. Since Mordo never mentioned that being his intention when he parted ways with Strange at the end of the first movie (it was only a goal he came up with later), I can only assume Mordo's been trying to kill Strange on-and-off for the past couple years, off screen.
