banananor 04/29/22 9:58:10 AM #5:	i'm cautiously optimistic that the FF team is actually re-dedicated to creating a coherent narrative i'll be paying attention to this for sure, even though i normally prefer FF settings that trend further towards alien or alternate present fantasy (as opposed to medieval/elemental crystal fantasy) i've always been surprised by how late stories are mapped out during game development, but i still have to assume it's gonna be another year before it comes out --- You did indeed stab me in the back. Yoshi-P has somewhat less of a hand in XIV now that he isn't salvaging it and has other people he can trust to help steer its development. Early Yoshi-P was more hands-on with FF14 than most game directors are with their projects, because he had to be.
