1-10 with 10 being the greatest neighbor on earth.

Left of me is a 7/10. Nice family. Respectful and quiet.
Right of me is a 2/10. The idiot tries to bully me making himself feel superior. Idk why. Wish theyd move out

Left of me is 5/10. Their yard is a dump and they put their garbage bin on my side of the property line in the alley. It's annoying but not really harmful.

Right of me is 8/10. Old couple, they gave me a loaf of banana bread not long after I moved in.

I have pretty good neighbours on both sides. Not much noise, no complaints, don't mind if I hang out on their driveway using the roof rake to clear snow off my roof (can't reach it all otherwise).

I'm glad to have the neighbours I do, it was the biggest unknown when I bought my house.

We're not close though. Growing up my Dad and the next door neighbour were best friends, to the point we had keys to each other's houses and would borrow stuff without even asking if the other family wasn't home.

8/10. Friendly, not loud, help me out with packages left on our doorstep, always wave hello, dont ever take up one of my parking spots. Could only be better if we were actually friends tbh

Left - 9/10. Talked to her a few times, nice lady. Relatively quiet and keeps to her self mostly.

Right - 8/10. Nice family, 4 kids and a large dog, but honestly they don't bother me too much. Think the dad works from home like me.

They're very nice people on both sides.

5/10 totally neutral. The closest one is like a quarter mile away. I can see their house in the distance, that's it. I wouldn't know them if I saw them though.

The ones on the other side are further, can even see their place.

I live on a farm in a rural, unincorporated area. Family members on either side but pretty far away. We all get along very well.

8/10 to the others. The guy smokes weed in his back patio. The woman doesnt bother at all.

Rarely seen, heard or smelled - so 10/10. (Pretty rare for apartments)

Do you have a bad history with neighbors because those are 4-6/10 neighbors you described, not 7+

9/10. No complaints. My few interactions with them have been good. No loud noises. No frequent partying. They don't expect conversation, but if they notice something off they will let me know about it when they see me. I had a package that was delivered to a side of the house I don't use and one of my neighbors was walking by, saw me outside with my dog and let me know there has been a package sitting out for a few days.

They just got kicked out of their home because their landlord sold the property, 7/10

Don't even know who they are. That's probably worth 10 points.

Basically have zero interaction with either of them.

Most are friendly. One of them drew the confederate flag in chalk on my driveway, though. Not sure wtf prompted that.

My entire 45 story condo is literally empty. I live in Dubai and even with all the Airbnbs I feel its all money laundering here hence empty rooms. So a 10/10 as I never see anyone besides the occasional family on vacation staying at an Airbnb heading to the beach with buckets and towels.

They always have a dog in their backyard, when someone complains about the noise, they replace it
Also they're leaving all their crap in their front yard which blows over to mine.. masks, napkins, food wrappings

I dont ever hear much from them, even the student in the house with his trombone or whatever isnt that annoying
They lose 2 points cus they had a Chuhuahua which was neglected

Neighbors?

I just moved here. I only have one next door neighbour, and one across the hall. neither make any noise so far. whoever's above me occasionally makes a lot of banging, but only for a short time each day.

the guy next door though, when I did bump into him was also moving in, and he was solo carrying a coffee table through the door and up the stairs while his GF watched and laughed... I assumed she would help him if he needed it but I think he wanted me to become his buddy and help him carry things (I had helped him with the door while carrying my own stuff and he was overly grateful; then later he had it on the floor in the hall in front of his open door as I walked past, but I didn't want to carry it into his apartment with him).

4/10 on the right. They let their dog just be outside unsupervised so its a pain to let my dogs out. They are sometimes noisy but not often. On the left I often forget they are there.

I live in an apartment building.

0/10 to the people next door. They smoked cigarettes indoors daily throughout the winter despite complaints made directly and indirectly to the leasing office. They also got a loud ass dog recently too. I leave for work at 5am and it barks every time a door opens in the stairwell

8/10 to my downstairs neighbors. They left Halloween bags for my kids on our doors and the lady is a very attractive Latina
