I'd argue that Superman is boring regardless of the media.

Movies? OP he will win minimal effort.
Cartoons? Same.
Comics? Blew away a solar system, tanks Kryptonite, etc etc
Video Games? There's a reason why developers don't even bother with him.

I would definitely check out Superman and Lois on the CW/HBO Max. It's a nice proper take on Superman. It's technically Arrowverse-related but requires no prior viewing of any other Arrowverse shows and is both tonally and stylistically different than the rest of CWs stuff.

They need to just start over. Only one worth keeping is Wonder Woman.

In terms of other superman stories that take advantage of his strength in the right ways, there's All-Star Superman, Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow, and Kingdom Come.

That's a misinterpreted statement. The movies are going to be more solo focus but they still share the continuity. Exceptions for things like Joker and such.

Which makes you wonder what the point of a cinematic universe even is at this point. Phase 1 Marvel build up to The Avengers. There's nothing being built up to here. Miller is gonna get dumped after Flashpoint so there will go another one. So that leaves Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl and Batman Keaton. Doubt that's gonna go anywhere either.

They should make it so the DCEU doesn't exist in our timeline

The upcoming Black (Clark Kent) Superman film is going to go very badly.

Literally erasing a White superhero from existence to make room for a replacement of another ethnic group is the absolute worst way possible to handle diversity and inclusion. They'd be better off to give Clark Kent a hero's death and introduce Calvin Ellis as a successor.

They need to get rid of any actor where the part has a CW actor also playing the part. Make the CW and DCEU universes the same. Keep Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Shazam, Suicide Squad, and use Grant Gustin, Melissa Benoist, etc. since they've already established those characters. If they want to move Flash and Supergirl to movies, keep the CW actors, even if they reset the continuity.
