imma be honest, I was supporting keeping Corrik alive but its changed now. I really don't like his two wall posts from today where he tries to argue for my lynch. That really seemed he both has too much info and like he was trying HARD to convince other people to lynch me without even sounding the most convinced himself

Plus, Sultan wasn't the most clear but it sounds to me like it was not confirmed that Corrik released him and that he only got released by day ending. Especially since it said Sultan was still ????? during the night phase. This means he was still kidnapped AND untargetable during the night. What if it was some shit where Sultan would have died but we ended the day before Corrik could kill him?

And if he's gonna keep saying he didn't get the Pineapple, I guess that throws out my idea for why he could be lying about it. Sounds like he really just wants that Sultan kill we ripped away from him.

I've definitely convinced myself, especially with the fact Sultan was still untargetable last night and you have to imagine he wouldn't have been able to act if he had an active ability either.

And we don't know he was untargetable, but the host can't just leave him in the shadow realm if he's supposed to be treated as a living player

I'm just basically in an uncomfortable spot where I don't know what I can actually say. And it's better to just lynch me instead of town get punished if I cross a line that I don't know where exists regarding things. I alluded to something earlier along the lines, but I don't feel comfortable with discussing it more.

I told you before how it worked, but that ending of the day earlier basically broke my role. Which led to unintended things.

I got to interrogate Sultan for up to 24 hours.

At the 12-24 hour mark I could choose to release Sultan. I could choose to kill him prior to 24 hours. If I made no decision by then, he would be released automatically. In which he would return to the game or flip upon whichever.

I did tell Sultan clearly multiple times I was going to release him to try and get him to discuss who was possibly scum with me. I also was leaning to release him. I hadn't made my mind up though and was considering still killing him. However, apparently telling him I intended to release him was good enough and the chat vanished around an hour into the night phase. Prior to the 12 hours and without me actually deciding for sure.

So, basically the game broke the role.

I was unsure if I could explain away me killing Sultan if he was town with the no night kill night 1 which was why I was debating it in my mind, in addition to the fact Sultan seemed likelier town to me after I realized I erred in thinking he wasn't on Tidus.

Kinda feels like that's a thing you're usually more than comfortable doing!

It was an unforeseen circumstance. I assumed he would have automatically been released actually and been made available for Night. I don't think my role accounted for that possibility.

Fun fact. Had absolutely no idea what physicks Isquen could get in Elden Ring mafia past the first 3. I thought about it for half an hour, couldn't come up with anything, and I assumed it wouldn't come up and figured if it did I would come up with something then.

Well the only reason might be if time ran out for him to kill Sultan by the day ending and he missed his chance. So he just wants to see Sultan lynched as some kind of revenge. But otherwise it doesn't make sense so I'm not set on this. My main issue is why Sultan was still kidnapped during night phase.

But if Sultan can confirm the chat lasted beyond day ending then I guess that confirms that

In fact, if he just wanted to kill him, why talk at all? Why even have an interrogation?

Interrogator is a cool town role, and the way corrik explained it follows a town thought process.

IGCD has provided very little that isn't the same null schpiel, so it's hard to feel great about lynching him. But I am back to letting Corrik live until we can confirm if Pineapple vendor is legit

Is that true? I thought Sultan was just talking about flavor. Missed that part entirely if so. I have to imagine if Sultan was the choice for him being a scum role then it was an intentional "look I saved you", but then if that's true Corrik wouldn't lie about the Pineapple.

Originally Corrik was just named Shape. He didn't need to ever claim to be corrik

So corrik claimed to be third party to Sultan in order to bait Sultan into slipping that he was mafia so that he could kill him, then was convinced Sultan was town so he revealed he was corrik and town kidnapper.

This all tracks.

my main problem with corrik is he avoided tidus day 1 like he says scum do their mates lol

With 9 players, it takes 5 to lynch. The day ends in approximately 68 minutes.

With only 9 players, silence doesn't mean anything other than people aren't here. IGCD could be scum and the one other scum isn't going to be shouting to save him. He looks terrible.

Alternatively IGCD could be town, and nobody is going to be shouting to save him. He looks terrible.

I'm back and caught up now, and it really does look like IGCD is going to be today's lynch. How much time do we have left? Should I just go ahead and hammer?

I feel like IGCD could be either way. That defeatist playstyle might be exactly as claimed, a vanilla townie that has given up on the game. Or it could be residual guilt from doing the fake claim that led to a scum ally's death on Day 1.

For other targets, I have to admit I am skeptical of Ben. Especially with Chris claiming to have been poisoned while Ben claimed to have been protecting him. Someone mentioned that the poison could be a daytime ability, but that seems unlikely to me given my own role. Like, if you're going to give someone the power to kill during the day and also make one of the mafia undetectable like Tidus was, what even is the point of having a tracker?

Another possibility that occurred to me: What if Sultan is some kind of Jester role? He says people would get pineapples for targeting him, people target and don't get pineapples, so we lynch him and he wins.
