I tried to find out what percentage of dems and what percentage of reps have diabetes

I mean I know Republicans are evil, but stuff like this still surprises me. To get insulin they used to squeeze it out of pig pancreas or something like that. Now they have genetically modified bacteria the produce it, it costs basically nothing to actually produce it. This isn't a new process either, costs of insulin aren't high because they are paying off the research they did to start producing it. It's just unjustifiably high.

They turned a lifesaving drug into a business that extorts those unfortunate enough to have it. And now are upset because its more accessible.

$4K AVERAGE a month is unjustifiable.

The patent for the stuff was basically given away. So, the cocksuckers slightly tweak the formula, call it new, and then mark the shit way up. The scumbaggery of some people knows no bounds.

I've mentioned before that I worked at Insulet before. Absolute blood thirsty company that has something absurd like a 90% profit margin on their disposable insulin pumps. Cost $1-$2 to manufacture, sell for $50+.

This stat could be misleading as countries that develop a product tend to have lower prices due to not having to get jacked by transport.

huh, I was going to do a joke about how America is also the largest producer of Insulin, but yall don't... it's primarily produced in Morocco, with secondary markets in India and China... the top 15 producers of insulin are small island nations

Considering dead people can't give you money, I'm pretty sure they want to keep them alive. It's why most criminal organizations don't like independent entrepreneurs who partake in drug cutting. You need to get the consumers hooked and able to pay. Killing your customers is bad business.
