GuessMyUserName 04/27/22 4:13:17 AM #206:	Legitimately emotional episode. When it sets up the beginning I really wasn't expecting what followed to really nail the emotional impact but it did. Honestly heartbroken from the first part, then a little relief as Marc tries to hide Steven's beginning (still though touching on Marc's vulnerability Khonshu takes advantage of), but then right back to finish up the heartbreak. And still with bits of charming levity throughout, this episode had me tearing up and smiling. ~~Not as high on the boat fight, although always fun to see Steven give fighting a go and the ending left me shocked... how the hell do we just have 1 more episode.~~ One other thing though... it's a bit frustrating the way the obvious 3rd alter is gone back to being ignored after yet another direct tease ending last episode. He's been getting teased throughout the entire series but now it's up to the final episode. On one hand it's odd that he's unimportant to balancing their scales, but on the other hand I can't really imagine fitting him into such a very powerful Marc & Steven episode so I dunno. When it was first pointed out their hearts aren't full I assumed that was referring to the 3rd alter left in the red sarcophagus but that quickly turned out not to be the case. shrug Although I do think the 3rd alter made an appearance early in the ep when Dr. Harrow question's Marc about the boy, Like 4:40 Dr. Harrow asks about the boy, Marc stares off, and then he tries to get out of their, kinda playing it cool for a second but quickly unravels, gets aggressive, and his accent is entirely different, blatantly New Yorker accent. They don't make it as obvious as the switches between Marc & Steven but this definitely feels like a 3rd alter that just took control here. Anyways, critiques aside I think this might just be my favourite of the live action D+ episodes. What If Strange still being the best overall, but somebody please give Oscar Isaac a medal. edit in another comment Also really interesting how the asylum side of it turned out, they explain it really well from the start about the mind building a shelter away from traumatic memories, which in the given framing sounds like Harrow trying to convince Marc that the Moon Knight side isn't real... but then as the episode goes on both Marc & Steven keep coming back to Harrow to escape their trauma, and this fake Dr. Harrow is even starting to give really helpful advice about Marc needing to tell Steven the truth, and Steven needing to confront his mother's death. Hawkeye had me freaking out a lot in some real fun ways. TheRock1525 04/29/22 3:28:11 AM #234:	I have a weird theory that the third "personality" ~~might be Khonshu.~~ We have loose proof that Khonshu might have been involved with or caused the drowning of Marc's younger brother. But since it seems that Khonshu can only take on an avatar of someone on their death bed, part of me thinks that Khonshu took control or became a part of Marc during his near death drowning experience. There's also the fact that Khonshu specially told Steven to have Marc find and free him. But Marc has no idea where he is as the mini-statue. I mean, he knows of the place, but he doesn't know where it is as he was simply magically whisked away to it by a portal. It actually makes more sense that a dying Marc could seek out Khonshu within his individual psyche like he did Steven. But you can point out how the scales were unbalanced due to secrets Marc withheld from Steven about his origin, and that being rid of Steven finally balanced Marc's scales. But if Khonshu was still within Marc, shouldn't his scales stay unbalanced? But here's the key difference: Marc is very keenly aware of the existence and origin of Steven. Steven needed to learn the whole truth but also be removed from Marc's psyche in order to achieve balance. But something Marc is completely unaware wouldn't weigh on his psyche at all. So it had no effect on balancing his heart. And the final point I'd make is that the brief moment when the third personality took control, he was more brutal than even Marc. Which would actually reflect on Khonshu's general modus operandi. He very specifically yelled at Steven to break Harrow's neck. Which would actually reflect on Khonshu's general modus operandi. He very specifically yelled at Steven to break Harrow's neck. So, lets go entry by entry. Endgame does have some time pass from the five years later scene to the time travel, then time could also pass before the funeral. So Endgame could go over the course of some months from around April to October 2023. WandaVision takes place 3 weeks later and seems to cover Halloween so that lines up. This would place Far From Home in April 2024 which seems early for summer but if you do some rounding could be the first week of May which is in America often seen as the start of summer. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is around this time as well. Shang-Chi and Eternals dont seem to have a specific time but seem to take place in 2024 also.
