You lynch me today, Chris dies tonight. IGCD's counter appears to be accurate tomorrow, near-confirming Isquen. Which conspiracy are you believing? Is IGCD claiming a confirmable role for no reason one, Corrik a ninja with some other fuckery, MZero murdering his team, Ben being murdered by his team as RB, Ulti/Crescent being scum/scum... you get where I'm going with this?

My point is you are gonna get a shitton of conspiracies for the rest of the game. Whoever the remaining scum is, they've played really well and have done something to make themselves pseudo-cleared (hence why even myself and Ben who know I'm not scum are having trouble finding alternatives and we are slowly meandering towards my lynch as the only totally uncleared and least clearable player). Think FD killing Panth as scum mayor in that one game in like 2018 cleared - in this lategame every single option will probably require a weird conspiracy and it's understandable that nobody has a bloody clue right now.

I am literally considering letting myself die here because lynching either yourself or IGCD could be catastrophic for town with the loss of information.

I have absolutely no idea what I would do tonight in scum's shoes.

We still have 3 players who have not fully claimed.

I feel like no one feels good about lynching any of our current options and that Sheep is basically being treated as the "least bad" one.

I'm kinda okay with it tbh? I'm an easy mislynch tomorrow anyway, and although I expect IGCD to be a similarly easy mislynch tomorrow too, he at least provides info overnight. I'll probably vote IGCD if it comes down to it and nothing changes on my end because I'd love any chance higher than zero to just end the game and win without being lynched, but I'm not even 100% on that.

Anyway gonna iso IGCD, eat and be back for deadline

We literally killed 3 scum with 2 nights and town went from "lol red is completely outside his scum profile" to "lol red is scum he poisoned himself and then did all these things in some master nutso plan".

It is literally fucking shit. I don't know how to describe it. Especially chris who from his perspective knows 100% I use the vote lock on one of my own scummates or myself. I should -never- be in his scum radar. I certainly don't waste a poison where, with a roleblocker, if someone claims poisoned you are going to be able to use the opportunity to out the likely poison doctor and, since me being scum requires a roleblocker to exist, means we could use it as an opportunity to out them, get a block, and then snag a free extra kill.

The fucking conspiracy is batshit off the rails and doesn't logically compute with how everyone should know I play scum. Especially when they are doing a 180 and basically having me as near confirmed town the day prior.

I don't know what to do when you have a town that has gone this far off the deep end.

I think the three scum died in such quick succession that it's completely messed with the flow of the game.

We also got almost no information about two of the deaths beyond MZero probably being town, and are basically in an endgame state with only two lynches worth of information to go off.

Reading back now. Isquen just looks ridiculously good D1 for softclaiming so early. He does it halfway through topic 2 and I just don't think scum thinks to prepare a claim like that so quick especially as a newer player.

To sum up Ulti and Isquen's interactions for post-skim Chris

When I voted for Isquen, Isquen immediately countervoted me. Ulti called myself and Isquen both scum, and voted me.

Isquen, who has counterattacked or countervoted every single person to every throw significant suspicion of him, completely ignored Ulti's suspicion of him. He never once, in any way, shaded Ulti, in an absolute deviation from everything else he has ever done.

He did pop in, out of the blue, and say to lynch Corrik if I flip town. Corrik was the person actually leading my lynch, with Isquen as a semi-active riding on his coattails.

When Ulti or Corrik is scum, all bets are out the window to who's going to claim what and when.

I mean you know I do tend to have a pretty low opinion of my game but I'm not exactly seeing the problem with preferring to lynch the player I think is likeliest to be scum rather than factoring in how much cooler I'd look if I lynched a different scum. The whole interaction with Crescent and Ulti also makes Ulti look a lot worse if Isquen flips scum (Isquen got mad at everyone who attacked him except Ulti who he ignored and Ulti swapped to defending him very quickly when the pressure started turning into votes) so I like the upside on it anyway.

Panthera popped in to outright protect me from Ulti's claim that I was scum with Isquen. No one took more of a stand on it than he did.

I don't actually think I have ever been on a scum team with either but I will keep that in mind. I do, however, still think it's unlikely.

From your assessment of Isquen, how likely do you think it is that he'd listen if Ulti told him to softclaim something to back up his pressure on you? I'm not sold that he would do something so quickly but there was also a lot of bloodthirst for you early on.

I agree it's probably not you/Chris/Ben, even more so than any other townreads but it feels so, so dumb to lynch our claimed power roles.

Ultimately: It's very clear looking back at day 1 that scum wanted to make me into and keep me as a distraction though. Ulti intentionally riled me up by accusing me of something he knew I wouldn't do, and Panthera called it out as wrong.

I was more wondering if Panth tries to attack both of his scummates and connect them together so soon into the game. If Isquen got lynched and did flip scum, Ulti was probably next in line. I don't think it makes sense, frankly.

I understand the theory, and yeah, I get where it's coming from? It's not impossible? But as you said, it's a really elaborate gambit, more elaborate than most. Right now I'm sticking with "the most simple possibility is the correct one" as a standard because trying to lynch someone who looks ridiculously town as it stands is... a bad idea.
