At what height does a man stop being short?






There are three kinds of short guys.

Guys who are under 5'9 and stress way too much about how short they are.

Guys who are 5'9 and 5'10 who constantly stress over if they are short.

Guys who are 5'11 who whenever they are asked how tall they are, they say "5'11 and 3/4ths".

Anyways, I think a guy stops being short at 5'9.

I'd also add that just a few years ago, I would have said a guy stops being short at 5'7, but the attitudes I have seen from people who are 5'7 and 5'8 just exude Napoleon complexes.

Height averages change based in country. World average is 57.5 m, though. So, not shorter. Thats pretty average

And in case you were wondering, some the tallest people are from the Netherlands (or they at least have the tallest averages)... Which is why you probably think thats short

I was just saying that it was probably why you consider someone slightly above average to be considered short. Also, I think I saw a show about a tall family from the Netherlands. But it was like forever ago

Speaking as someone who's been 6'3" since I was like 14 years old, I think of every man under 6' tall as being short. And I look down on all of you. Both literally and figuratively.

Well, only about 14% to 15.8 of adult men are over 60. So some of them will have to settle for regular tall. Anyway, I think the women who say that are either tall (and want a tall guy, which makes sense), or are way too superficial But its not all of them Luckily, I think more women these days seem to be a little better about dating shorter guys

The real problem is when the taller guys want really short girls. Especially since the shorter guys would probably have an easier time talking to them Probably

I'm 5'8 and I feel like most guys I've met in my life are shorter than me (not a lot shorter but still shorter)

I know the average height is 5'8 but I think most guys are below average and there's just bigger outliers of tall guys that pull the average up

But if you see me and my buddies around our 5'11 friend who likes to think he's super tall, that's short too

Maybe you live in an area of country where people are tall. Or maybe youre bad with height I got the info from Google. But even looking with my own eyes (and asking them directly), most people I know arent over 60 And Ive seen. A LOT of guys And if the guys Im asking are saying 58-510 or so, they probably arent lying to make themselves seem shorter

5'10 I'd say. 6' for sure isn't short. I'm 6'1 and many say I'm tall although I'd consider it to be slightly above average. Average is 5'10 - 6' for me. This is going by the average height for blokes I see in England. The rest of the world is probably different.

Insecure about. Just because its height for some people doesnt mean they have no personality. Not to mention, it is true that some women do obsess about height. If I were them, Id find someone else. But it does happen that some people only want a tall

iirc, 5'9" is the national average, so that, although it's not like 5'7" is really all that short just like 5'11 isn't all that tall.

idk, 5'8-5'11 feels like a normal band. 6'0 or 6'1 isn't all that tall just like 5'6" isn't all that short. Although an inch down seems more significant than up. 5 inches up from 5'9 is only 6'2 but that's 5'4 which is tiny for a guy.
