Sometimes if they are trying to aggressively push some dumb shit when I tell them I'm not interested. Ill try to keep them on the line as long as possible to waste their time.

No, rather not have them realize my number is active and keep calling. Though that doesnt seem to stop a stupid scam call from indiana calling me about some sort of debt I dont have. Every single day at 2 pm I get a call and the number is just 1 number up, so fucking annoying.

'One, the principal goes by he/him, not they/them. Two, there's no way I will ever be using outside service desks as I can't be ensured you are vetted to work around children. Three, the principal also is aware not to forward sales calls to me. Four, I have a meeting with him this week and will mention your company and we will contact you to disucss who you called that was impersonating him.

Just hang up the phone and block the number. Or just don't answer calls from numbers you don't have saved unless you're legitimately expecting a call from an unsaved number.

Im not telemarketing, but telesales (i guess the difference is people call me i dont call them) and if you got me on the line id let you vent because it means i get to look at my phone and occasionally use brief replies to keep you going. I do this all the time to get a little break, sometimes i even open up the venting for them . Its back to back calls and even just a little break where i can turn my mind off is welcome

i dont really care about the customers, the stress from these jobs come from the management up your ass if you aren't selling . thats why you do a little white voice knock some sales beginning of the month then coast and listen and be peoples therapist for the rest of the month
