skimming the topic while sitting in webinar training. mzero really mzeroing in on me off of 1 post which I think I've elaborated enough on, frankly.

And really it was 2 reads, one on Crescent and one on Sultan. the ulti more commentary than anything. (not that i am a fan of him so far this game in general as things stand).

As for Crescent, well that's going to be sorted out sooner or later

And my tune adjusted slightly on Sultan after watching him post more. he is that limbo type of player where you could feel great about lynching him and be very wrong. that doesn't mean you never lynch him.

if you are going to finger someone for changing their tune as the game progresses then maybe we should all stop talking and just do blind lynches via private message to plum until the game is decided.

Changing tune as the game progresses is perfectly normal. I do it plenty often, myself.

My tune has gradually shifted up and down with Marth basically all day!

i think it's fun to talk about setup meta and i don't care how early it is. plus the game was completely stalling at that point with like 200 useless corrik/crescent posts and a sbell/sultan tiff that I didn't see any value in discussing.

last game corrik and i went back and forth about the theoretical existence of a roleblocker on red nights 1 and 2 with no evidence that one existed at that point (and I was 100% correct about that, btw). i like talking about setup and you'll see me do it every game. i also flat out reject the notion that only scum should care about an independent in the game. everyone should care about the setup.

Because you can also compare this: Both Marth and Sultan immediately voted me, but both are now off me because they think I'm town. They committed to an actual read, instead of focusing on the claim.

MZero immediately voted me with that hedging nonsense, stayed with the hedging nonsense, stayed around a bit longer and effectively left himself with plausible deniability on his perception my alignment.

It's much worse than either Marth or Sultan because it's so noncommittal.

I care about the setup greatly, but what has happened so far that would prompt you to have any insight on the setup?

My role is dragon that attacks you with swords made of lightning. Yes, that's the flavor name. I wanted to hype it up a lot, maybe throw in some Dark Souls boss music and dramatic lighting, before revealing that it's just town vanilla.

Your role claim doesn't necessitate thinking you are scum to think you are the correct lynch day 1. I myself have expressed doubts and moreso want to tidy up a potential scum gambit while also confirming you so I can sift through the illogical reasoning to accept your reads from a town mindset. It's hard for me to look at reads that are tantamount to all the scum is on me because I am such a threat day 1 and think it's actual critical thinking. But, if I know you are town, I can try and sift through it at least. Frankly its a bit of a chore and is very basic level scum fake reasoning. There is some analysis in there. That part I do read into, but so much is garbled that I require a town confirmation to find it worth going through.

I am still not sure this isn't just an asinine homerun scum play with mass spew to suffocate the game.

Chris if town won't let you suffocate the game for much longer if you are scum, but they likely just shoot him at night and the suffocation is back on. The truly dangerous aspect is if you are scum together, but it seems unlikely. Chris is pulling votes along. If Crescent is scum and Chris town, Chris has accomplished Crescents Wifom through the day to achieve the end goal for her. So Crescent has no incentive to not allow him to pull her vote along wherever.

Crescent being scum is not eradicated as a possibility anywhere. I have waffled at times on whether she is scum, but never on the possibility she could be scum. That combined with a zero reason to not lynch claim due to downside being a confirmed town makes the lynch safe.

Crescent keeps talking though as if she is lynched that she will die though despite her claim. Which is interesting. Tons of worry about people voting her.

She says she can't die and yet like 2 or 3 people she said were scum or scummy for voting her in that situation. If that situation is true, scum would want a mislynch and not to lynch her.

Considering my flavor name is "Nobody to tell you where to go", such a ridiculous flavor claim... Is actually fine by me, if it fits thematically.

Nothing. But I don't even know if I should be expecting 4 or 5 mafia or an independent thrown in the mix. People responded telling me about the "golden ratio" and that 5 mafia is more in line with what to expect. That's the information I was looking for and what I got.

You didnt have to reveal the vanilla part, but look, CONGRATUALTIONS, you are town.

Reasoning: My real flavor is a lot funnier than that and more ridiculous and conceptual in nature, and if scum has a safelist there is no way you pick that out as the flavor that is the funniest.

Yeah, at this point I think it's just the theme of the game. Which I love that, it's hilarious.

The same thing stated a different way - Shonen seems surprised the flavor in this game could be that abstract because so far we have only played games with characters. Little does he know that is far from the most ridiculous flavor in this game. I dont think he has seen scum's safe list

Crescent does this every game where she insists that I scum tunnel her, and its never been true. I go in every game open minded and if I feel she's scum thats just what happens.

I really cannot stand playing with you Crescent. Out of the years of actual toxic gameplay on this board, and elsewhere, I have never said 'man I don't want to play with this player' except for you. You disrespect the game and make it unfun, and regardless of that I never ever try to policy lynch you or just say you're scum to get you out of the game, I read you like I would read anyone else

Death, as much as I think he's scum is really sticking his neck out hard on Crescent and really dug into her and Corrik and I'm hesitating on my read on him

I do agree that it's held true for most people .

Finally caught up and I'll admit I have no idea if lynching Crescent would be the right play. Chris says it isn't and obviously his word carries the most weight. I am still OK with Crescent so it's not like I am looking to see her lynched anyway.

Guess I'm just waiting on my vibe check so I can fade away into obscurity.
