What made you suspect he got her pregnant?

i mean it made sense. they werent exactly shy about telling folks they were having sex. that, and she stopped coming to school. idk, maybe I should have asked him personally but then again we started talking way less once we went to middle school

Oh... derp. Actually somehow I forgot this... my other stepsister got pregnant twice, once at 15 and once at 17. Abortion first time. Kept kid 2nd time. Niece is 16 now and stepsister just had 2nd kid.

We didn't react much. It was her decision and she really got her life together as a young single mother. She wasn't living with us at the time. Her mother is a depraved, toxic fucking lunatic and she believed her bullshit and was living with her at the time, so we didn't see her a lot.

One that I know of. She was a year older than me. If I remember correctly, she was in my Spanish class when I was a Junior(?) and she was a Senior.

I don't recall her coming back to school after having the baby, though.

There were a couple.

One was about 12-13 years old. Then her family suddenly moved out of state. Of course the rumors were that she got pregnant and they were trying to hide it. They moved back when she was 16 or 17 and she had 3 kids at that point. >_>
She was there for a few months and vanished again. Kept them all as far as I know.

Another got pregnant in our junior year I think. She kept the kid. Kid is 21 now and worked with my mom recently. Now he's at the McDonalds his mom has been working at for 20 years.

One more, but iirc it was only a pregnancy scare. One of the cheerleaders started sleeping with the one teacher who also coached baseball. Everyone knew it was happening and all the teachers were ignoring it. It went on for 3 years, and on her 18th birthday they announced that they suddenly fell in love that day and would start dating. Even though the pregnancy scare happened the previous year and caused both of them to miss for a week.

I went to a private school that was pretty religious so it was obvious that if you get pregnant you get asked to drop out. Someone in my grade got pregnant and word got out like a month before graduation and she just stopped coming to class. Not sure if they let her come take finals and get a diploma or just get a GED, but it sucks that they apparently didn't make an exception for her since she was so close to graduating

We had quite a few pregnancies and pregnancy scares in school. The most vivid one I remember was my friend that was a year behind me got pregnant by her then boyfriend. The main issue is we lived in a very small, conservative town and her family was Mormon so even more so.

She ended up telling her mom and she actually took it a lot better than expected. She lied to her husband saying they were doing a mother-daughter trip out of state for a weekend and they got her an abortion. To this day her dad still doesn't know and she's still pretty active in the Mormon church.

I went back to work at my old high school and middle school after graduating college and the middle school actually had a dedicated class to the pregnant girls/mothers in the 7th and 8th grade. We had about 5 girls in that class I think?

Religious schools need to be shut down, there's no excuse for shit like this to be allowed.

Only one that I remembered in Freshman year. She liked to challenge everything and make the teachers job hard and just did whatever she wanted. Got pregnant then dropped out. Met her a couple years later to learn she got her GED and did a complete 180 on personality.

The only one I remember was a girl who got pregnant in tenth grade. I think she dropped out. Married the father and then got divorced later.

A lot of girls had babies right after high school.

When I was in school all of the pregnant girls were movex to a "continuation school." The trouble makers, pregnant girls and losers ended up in that school. The kids who probably wouldn't have graduated from a regular highschool. So when girls got pregnant, unless you knew them personally, you never found out they were pregnant. Because they still hid them away at a special school.

But I did know kids who were at that school and they said a bunch of the girls there were either pregnant or already had a kid. So apparently lots of girls at my school got knocked up.

For as much shit as teen parents get, at least they're still relatively young when their kids mature. I remember working with someone who was in their 30s and their youngest kid out of two was graduating HS that year. I'm in my 30s and me and my fiancee are just now starting to try to have our 1st kid, meaning I'll be in my 50s when the oldest turns 18 and wife will be late 40s, provided we're able to conceive.

Of course we're much more able to financially support children at our age than a teen would, and we were able to enjoy our 20s without having the responsibility of being parents, so I'm not outright saying teens should strive to have kids, but at least there's some sort of silver lining. >_>

I absolutely agree. It bothered me back then too. It just really seemed like the other adults just didn't want to get involved at all.

Her and the teacher did eventually get married a few years later. That's all I know of the situation.

It was early on in the pregnancy, she wasn't showing at that point. She went to her mom as soon as she realized she was pregnant and her mom figured the abortion plan at the earliest time they could have done it.

And they've just kept quiet about it for almost 20 years.

Only knew about 1 girl who was pregnant senior year, the guy was one year older then her and had graduated the year before, they had dated a long time as they did marry and are still together. He was also a very smart guy as he makes very good money now and his only regret is waiting 6 months before he got his good job due to being a new dad (I think he wanted to provide a nice life sooner then he did, it also might have been a rough 6 months).

Everyone as school kinda laughed since people kinda expected them to have a family just not so soon. The only person who made it seem bad was her little sister who she never got along with.
