After a bunch of dudes would get absolutely smashed and passed out it would be tradition to wheel/carry in a large statue of a woman (Hathor) and then bang pots'n'pans and generally cause a ruckus to abruptly wake up everyone in the morning in a panic

The group would then go back to work and collectively comfort each other through the traumatic experience... to ignore their hangover
