Must be bad luck. I got stopped cold by the third fight when previously I could manage to beat 6th.

Currently Lv 40 max, sometimes still getting beaten by Area 4 (and beaten by 3-x Hard). I'm using the stamina to farm equipment while progressing.

Especially for Peco because she dies a lot.
It is expected because she tanks nearly everything but still.

Blue Archive does the duping job better, I guess. On top getting universal shard (eligma) you also get character shard (eleph) if you get dupes from gacha.

Dungeon fights are completely RNG. Except for the boss, all fights are drawn from random arena teams IIRC. So I don't think that you'll generally get the same fight at the same room every time, which makes it hard to gauge progress. Joining the clan will let you borrow a unit for dungeon, so you can grab someone's much higher level DPS to help, though it's 50k mana per borrow.

Priconne will eventually introduce character shards from gacha dupes. I think it should be later this year for global. Halloween Kyouka was when that system was introduced in Priconne JP, and we've been following JP release order pretty closely.

I dunno how true it is but man, every single fucking time there's any anime style something with some chibi model, it gets compared to Arknights. Add on Tower Defense-ness and yeah

I think people have to sorta look back and realize Arknights was striking mostly on the surface. I quite liked it for the first month of it, and the seams really started to fall apart for me

I am sure I'll find it entertaining for like a week at least.

I got irritated with Ark Knights because it was basically a puzzle game.

Arknights having a bad story and annoying events didn't do it much favors for me.

By contrast, Aigis had a really antiquated stamina system (basically two different meters, one required for story, one for dailies, and BOTH required for events) and 3* system that made it very painful to attempt blind runs, but it also rarely had cheap bullshit for the first few years before powercreep made everything go to shit.

And some of the events were fun, even if the story was barebones at times. Stuff like fighting dragons and recruiting their princess to stop war from breaking out, finding a summon for the event summoner unit, fighting a necromancer who was actually hoping to defect to your side, etc.

Alchemy Stars has a bullshit 3 star system. You need to get everything at once, or else itll just keep what you got on a single run. Like if you finished in the time limit but someone died then you cant just keep everyone alive on the next run or youll just get that star for survival and have the time limit one erased lol

Yeah though AS mostly uses the star system for main missions and side story missions, which can be overcome by just having a really strong team.

Welp, I quit Mythic Heroes. They just introduced a fuckton of content that's so unnecessarily overwhelming, and I don't have time for that. Plus my gold just vanished after the patch a few days ago. So I just splurged on summons and deleted it lol

I didn't like any of the 30 rolls I got in the beginning and gave up lol.

Wouldn't mind giving Time Defenders a try (it's Vespa Inc, they're probably the only mobile developer ever I *haven't* badmouthed at some point), but I'm pretty strapped for storage space.

WTF do I just suck super hard or is Time Defenders really difficult? Because they Zerg rush the fuck out of you, plus the facts that it's hard to see where your units can be placed and where their range is, plus everything becoming a clusterfuck of a mess? It reminds me of one of the Kingdom Rush games where they swarm you with like 30 enemies at the start of a stage <_<

Man, like I random gacha'd quite a few costumes, which a great majority of them are just like stupendously lewd, and the game just kinda... gave away all the units that I got the costumes for, just out of pure coincidence since the gifts were serverwide

To this day, I haven't pulled a single SS unit via the unit crafting thing. But it doesn't matter because they just give away units like candy. I think the currency is mostly spent for like QOL or just buying your favorite costumes straight up. I can definitely see the appeal in that. The game isn't too bad, literally just a turn based GFL

There are plenty of moments I've seen in Tenkafuma that I've wanted to post about but can't for that exact reason. Like in the recent wonderland event where Lulu was apparently getting spanked by slime girls to the rhythm of 'Never Gonna Give You Up' by Rick Astley. No, I'm not making that up.

I know it is probably not worth it apart from the first one that cost 10 jewels in Priconne, but is it worth it to spend 180 more jewels for mana?
And is it worth it to refresh stamina?
In Blue Archive you can do stamina refresh once a day and still break even as long as you score top 2k-4k in PvP.

My level progress becomes noticeably slower now that the EXP needed for next level is increased.

Don't ever do that jewels to mana conversion, no matter how cheap it is. You'll have more than enough mana from the Grotto and other sources down the road.

Early on (like for the first month or so after you start playing) it's worth doing like 3 refreshes a day just to progress through the story and level up faster. You'll earn those jewels back in the story missions you clear with the extra stamina. Plus, during double drop events (especially double normal drops to grind equipment pieces) you might want to use 3-6 a day to get the maximum amount of grinding out of those events.

Outside of those situations, I wouldn't use stamina refreshes.

Today (now that it's past midnight and officially April 22 where I am) is the 3-year anniversary of Revue Starlight ReLIVE's global launch, the gacha game I've played longer than any other by a wide margin. To celebrate, they're giving away 100 free pulls right off the bat plus an additional 10-pull each day for the next 20 days, for a grand total of 300 free pulls. They're also giving players "dream lottery tickets" over the next two weeks that have some nice possible prizes, including a potential grand prize of 30,000 star gems (enough for another 100 pulls).

On top of that, outside of the game it was announced that the Revue Starlight movie would get a showing in US theaters in June, a year after its Japanese theater release, so I can go see it on the big screen in all its glory. I know this is a Bushiroad franchise and they tend to have a longer leash when it comes to pulling the plug on global releases, but I still never would have imagined that this niche franchise about a theater girl fight club would stay around for so long and bring me so much joy. At this point, I would likely call it my favorite anime-related franchise of all time, and I'm sticking with it until the curtain falls, no matter what.

All right, I'm done gushing about my love for this franchise now. I'm going to bed.

I'm gonna quit Alchemy Stars. It's gotten too busy and that bullshit boss in the last event was the last straw :<

I'm fairly sure Project QT and Sexy Exiles are the only games I haven't posted screenshots of because, well, you know.

Funny enough, Project QT actually implemented a "SFW mode" not to long ago, but I've never tried using it.

Echoes of Mana releases on 4/27. I REALLY hope they don't mess this one up, because I love the Mana series. Squeenix gachas have been pretty hit or miss.

Well, I actually quit it once before (like say a couple of weeks after it originally launched), and only came back because of a collab that added FF4 characters.

But it occurred to me, especially with the FF6 collab still going, that I'm pretty much *only* playing this thing for the guest cameos and not much else.

Decided I might give Azur Lane a try.

It's all a bit overwhelming and I feel lots isn't explained the best. At least no need to reroll, or not recommended I guess?

Have you tried just manually searching Priconne?

I find sometimes when games take you to the playstore directly it doesn't show until you go back and then to the games page.
