Do you think it was irresponsible of Paula to let her 13 y/o go fight in the war?

Pennsylvania mother, Paula Duda-Holoviak who is the founder and co-director of the Kazka Ukrainian Folk Ensemble says she has deep roots in the country and was one of many who pressured americans to leave Ukraine earlier this month from rising threats. Paula says her 2 boys, 13 and 19 are more Ukrainian than she is and said "My 2 boys are making plans to fight in Ukraine. I say GO AHEAD. They want to be Heroes. Seeing war in Ukraine to see the damage, it's heartbreaking and senseless. Ukrainians are winning, holding the mighty Russian army at bay. You can't subdue the people. You won't break the back of the Ukrainia People" Rosemarie Duda, another resident says this is Stalin all over again and many believe a much stronger response is needed to Putin's aggression and believes there should be more troops on the ground who says Evil will not stop itself unless they stop Putin now. 40 y/o English Professor, Matthew Kenenitz, sits at a pierogi cafe in rural Pennnsylvania making calls on Whatsapp to reach his teen students in Ukraine. A few weeks ago, he would have been there teaching them at a western city of Lviv, 50 miles from the Polish Border until the war started. 17 y/o Maksym, picks up his teacher's call and says he is stressed and sad and tells his teacher he and his family are safe for the moment but fear what will come next Another student sends him a text that says "I hear the 4th air siren of the day, we are making our way to shelter" He tells them they need to sleep on shifts incase something happens as he's been teaching college studnets in Lviv since 2019 He's a 3rd generation Ukrainian himself that feels deepply connected to the nation's culture and history He's not alone as Schuykill is home to the highest percentage of people claiming Ukrainian ancestry in the whole of the United States Churches across this tiny town are collecting money for the war torn country who say they will never let Putin take control of their homeland and begs every country to resoundly reject his advances and to put a stop on the madman once and for all.. I know there are many foreigners with no combat experience traveling to fight for Ukraine. Won't they just be a liability though? How are you gonna train someone with no combat experience in such a short amount of time and also doesn't even speak Ukraine language? --- ~Nintendo 64. Get N or Get out. Coming Fall 1996~ ... Any American - regardless of age - that doesn't already have military training and their own equipment to bring is going to be able to do more for Ukraine from America than they are trying to join the fight in person. --- This is my signature.
