A First Nation Group is calling for a swift response against truck convoy protesters who are now targeting SCHOOLS after a video of a confrontation between 17 y/o girls and a blonde heifer was caught on video and has gone viral

They are asking the federal government and RCMP to meet with them to talk about the racist escalation of the convoy "freedom fighters" that happened at Oliver High School in BC, Canada

Chief Greg Gabriel wants those who commit hate crimes investigated after the woman in the video yelled racial slurs and other derogatory words to the students

A 17 y/o Indo-Canadian student was seen yelling back and forth with the white woman and telling her to get out and calling her a Karen before the woman yells that the truckers convoy all their goods and calls her a stupid **** and says if she's old enough to debate with her at 17 then she should bring it as the teens tell her to shut the f*** up

The Truck Convoy seems to be taking their attention elsewhere after being told to leave the border and obstructing trade with the united states and are now heading to public schools and other public areas demanding all mandates end..

I did not hear a single racial slur in that video.

I deserve to be in this country, do you? the woman could be heard saying in the video. She also said to go home and go back to your country.

A slur doesn't have to be a single word. It can be a phrase or short saying... Really any disparaging or insulting talk. And it's clearly racist. So yeah... She yelled racist slurs at children. Class act.

There's a pickup in the background of the first picture, but it is indeed true that a sizable portion of those participating in the protest now are just cranky right-wingers of all backgrounds and not actually truckers. The movement's identity has been established as a truck convoy, though, and that identity persists even when those involved aren't truckers.

Oh, it was certainly always there. It was the same as with the US: events simply needed to occur to allow people to feel permission to express their inner...uh...non-conformances. If people become convinced (rightly or wrongly) that their society is worthless and heading in the wrong direction they will start acting on their base impulses eventually. Trump didn't create that (I would argue it's been building as we've societally forgotten the lessons of WW2) but he threw gas on it.

She's up for $2300 in fines apparently.
