I think I onlyhad it once inmy life, like 5years ago

I ate fast food ( i do a lot)

then an hour later I lay down and I start having indigestion (kinda normal) but its a bt more violent then usual, then 10 mins later my fucking head was spinning AS IF I WAS DRUNK and I know i wasn't drunk since I didn't have any alcohol that month/ 10 mins later my stomach hurts and my hiccups become like as if I want to vomit.

i went to the toilet and I vomitted twice and I felt hella better after.

weird that the same dizzyness when your drunk I had that and knew somethign was up.

did I have food poising or what?

mainly of the "vomit and diarrhea" variety

Yeah, it was excruciating stomach pain that wouldn't let up even after hours of flying out both ends.

Easy

-Ate something
-5 or 6 hours later, my innards feel like they've flipped upside down
-Spend the next hour or so on the toilet with stuff coming out both ends

Doesn't happen often, thank goodness

Probably - and you should really have gone to hospital, if you had dizziness, as it's a sign of a more serious food poisoning - https://www.cdc.gov/foodsafety/symptoms.html

I actually got it and went to a fucking NFL game. Had diarrhea in the parking garage bathroom, had to have my dad get napkins from his car for me because there was literally no toilet paper in either bathroom. Then had it again during like, the second quarter I think? I literally dont remember any of the game, I was so miserable. Then when we got home I threw up four times in like six hours. Was fine the next day.

When you have food poisoning, it doesnt go away after throwing up or taking a shit. You take one half of a sip of water and then dry heave for ten minutes. Ive never felt so dehydrated in my life

Yes. Multiples of times though only one was super bad. The bad time I felt pretty wretched stomach pains and was extremely feverish (though my temperature wasn't actually all that abnormal, IIRC). I ended up passing out in my bed after throwing up and when I woke up it was mostly over.

Yeah. February 2011. Went out with my girlfriend and some friends to an arcade/indoor amusement type place. Like Chuck E. Cheese but for all ages. We ate pizza and all of us had violent vomiting and diarrhea for about 3 days after. At one point I was puking in the toilet and shit myself, ruining my favorite boxer shorts.

It was one of the worst few days of my life.

If you felt better and didn't puke anymore I'd say no. Just didn't agree with your stomach. If it was prolonged puking and the shits then yeah.

@coolguyjimmy damn wtf i never thought about that, it felt better after i vomited but if it kept up i wuld have went to the ER.

I guess I didn't have food posining then because it wasn't as bad as what you guys say

I ate some bad guacamole on Monday and have been having digestive issues ever since.

Yup, ended up pooping the bed, had to get a new mattress.

only once that i recall. ironically it was presidents day weekend like 4-5 years ago. i remember craving wings and there was a buffalo wild wings right across the street from me, so i went on over and got some.

spent most of the night doing what everyone else in here has done, which is to say vomiting and diarrheaing everywhere (each time feeling a little bit better afterwards)

it sucked but it was over relatively quickly once the flowing began. just had to get it all out, much like when you're nauseous from alcohol or hangover.

Not since I stopped going to Subway. Frequent bouts of food poisoning only on days I ate there made me give it up and I havent had trouble since. My girlfriend hasn't quite been so lucky. She's had it a few times but we eat at all the same places.

indian and mexcan food are always hard nos for me, never had it never will, looks liek dog food half the time.

yeah that was fucking rough, it was basically all day near the toilet because i was afraid everything was just going to burst out of everywhere

Twice. Never got it until I was in my 30s.

First time was at a Japanese restaurant that was a lot like Benihana, where they make the food at your table. Went their with my family. Love the place and wanted to go back until I woke up in the middle of the night incredibly sick. The entire next day, Id feel super nauseous whenever Id move.

Second time was on Fathers Day. My parents are divorced and my dad is remarried, so I went with his family on Fathers Day for brunch. We all went out separate ways afterwards. About 1-2 hours later, I got a call from my dad, asking me if I was feeling well because all of them were getting sick, so they figured it had to be from the food. I wasnt sick yet at that point, but it was like knowing a guillotine was over my head. Ended up getting sick within the hour, and for the rest of the day.

I've had both dysentery and lysteria. Fucking sucks man.

One time, I had the flu when I was 6 years old, then got food poisoning right as I was recovering from that

closest I've ever come to dying, and I actually got bumped to a lower level class for my next grade level in school since I missed a couple weeks in the hospital

wasn't the only time I've had food poisoning, but it was the worst

Once, November 2019

I don't know where I got it from, but I spent most of an entire day vomiting every hour like clockwork.

Fucking tell me about it. The state health department actually contacted me wanting to know where I got it.

Had it once a couple years ago after eating some under cooked chicken. I had a couple bites before I knew it was under cooked, so I put it back in the oven. After taking it out it was over cooked. But the next day I was dizzy and vomiting every hour for most of the day.
