there are a lot of movies that didn't make the cut because they weren't popular enough, and i think they generally don't care about horror

they could have nominated the horror movie about epstein's ghost!

It's a bit different cause that is deliberately shlocky and exploitative.

Infinite was the worst out of the Worst Picture wins in my opinion, but it definitely won't "win."

As for the poll, you can't get any worse than listening to Mike Lindell drone on and on about fictional election fraud for two hours.

I truly believe you can make that argument for any horror film

This is probably more true than I'd like to admit!

I reflexively voted for "Hillary's America" before it dawned upon me that "Absolute Proof" was the Lindell movie

I'm surprised Eternals didn't get nominated for anything. The Razzies go after high-profile failures as often as the absolute worst films, so I'd have thought they would have relished the chance to poke fun at the MCU. Maybe superhero fatigue isn't a thing after all.

The only time in the past decade I've seen Marvel get nominated was the Fantastic Four reboot, which isn't MCU.

DC hasn't been as lucky; Batman vs Superman had 8 nominations, Suicide Squad ('16) had 2, and Wonder Woman 1984 had 1.

the eternals sounded like a terrible concept, but it was a good movie and the least traditional in the MCU. tbh it probably should have been its own property. it was also punished for that in the box office- i think a razzie would be rubbing salt in the wrong wound

The last time I watched a Razzie nom in the year it came out was Batman vs Superman. (Not much of a surprise, given how much they rely on negative press rather than the actual quality of the movies.)

Eternals has a RT score just south of 50%, which isn't really bad enough to merit a Worst Picture nomination. Remember Rise of Skywalker got away scot-free.

I watched Eternals a couple of weeks ago because MCU.

"It was a movie that I watched." I don't have much more than that to say about it.

I remember some complaints online regarding none of Disney's live-action remakes being nominated for Razzies. As is they named Rambo: Last Blood the "Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off, or Sequel" of 2019 while leaving out stuff like Charlie's Angels and Black Christmas as well from the nominations, and nominating Godzilla: King of the Monsters for it. Ugh.

Razzies are publicity hounds. I watched Batman Begins last month and while I found Katie Holmes's performance the weak link of the cast I wouldn't say she deserved a Razzie nom and she probably only got it for being a tabloid fixture at the time.

That's how I feel about most mcu stuff at this point, but maybe I'm just hopelessly jaded. I liked that the protagonists fundamentally disagreed on the correct courses of action

Of the two I have seen some of

Diana was terrible in an amazing way. I kept asking what the hell the person who wrote the musical was trying to do over and over again.

Space Jam was just horrendous

I do as well. That was neat enough.

But.. There were just too damned many of them. The movie both completely lacks pacing, and has almost no feeling of actual buildup for the first hour and a half.
