Current Events > How many games do you "juggle" at a time?

Over the last couple years I've tended to have one Xbox game and one Switch game going at any given time, even if that Switch game was just something menial to kill the time at work. So lately I've been playing Tales of Arise, and revisiting Mario 3D World in those shorter gaps at work. Also trying to keep up with the weekly content in Forza Horizon 5, but I've slowed on that of late.

Typically one, maybe two, but the second game isn't as dedicated an affair.

3-4 I think.

One multiplayer game with friends (DBD), one time sink casual game (TFT), and one JRPG (Trails of Cold Steel). If there's something else I can just kind of casually play I'll add it too (Fire Emblem, Pokemon, etc).

JRPG is usually reserved for the weekend when I can play for 6 hours at a time.

i have one 'main' game going at a time. the one i focus on the most.

then i usually have a 'side' game that is more 'pick up and play'. this is usually a multiplayer game like Left 4 Dead or Vermintide 2, or a rougelite / run-focused game like Dead Cells or Hades

This is how I handle things too. I remember playing The Last of Us 2 and needing a break because the story is such a downer. I'd hop into Warframe and just kill shit some days to let my mind clear.

I've just played one game at a time for years now. It seems to be the most efficient way of doing things for me. But I've been trying to play 2 games at a time for the past couple of months. I don't think its working out well but I'll keep it up for a little while longer

I've been having trouble finishing games recently, so to counteract that I've been focussing on one game at a time and just taking a break from gaming when I start feeling overwhelmed/unable to continue (which usually happens around the 15 hour mark)

1 single player game and maybe 1 multiplayer game. That's it. I will put a game on hold though, if a new game that I've been anticipating, releases.

i'm planning on getting a ps5 controller to replace it soon.

maybe like 2 or 3 but typically i follow what's fun and if i'm not having any then i drop it

If I try to play more than one game at a time I'll end up playing none of them.

Two at the absolute most. Most of the time it's just one. If I juggle games I reach a deadlock state where I can't decide what to play and then don't play either. When I do two it's because the second game is less priority and is more of a side project of sorts.

I have too many games going. I play one until i want to play another more than continue playing my current game.

I try to stick to only 1, but no more than 3 tops.

like 20. I don't really ever get bored of games

Usually there's one game that grabs my attention which becomes my "main" game until I beat or get tired of it. I just beat a game recently, so now I'm just bouncing between a couple of games until I decide what's next.

2 or 3 is pretty typical for me.

One "main" game, that is my major time sink. It's usually something multiplayer with a good group of friends who play, so there's always at least 1 person on at a given time to jump in with. Right now, that's Destiny 2. It was Warframe before that.

Then I'll usually have 1 or 2 side games that are either way more casual or strictly single-player experiences. Been hooked on Dyson Sphere Program for a while now as my second game and it's been so good. Seriously, if you like automation games like Factorio or Satisfactory, you really owe it to yourself to try out Dyson Sphere Program.

Occasionally I'll find something that's a short term kind of one-off quirky game to play for a bit. Something like Viscera Cleanup Detail or Hardspace: Shipbreaker.

I have like 200 games Ive started that Im sure Ill get to eventually
