Focus of the game seems to be more on gameplay style shift rather than there being a ton of content to keep you entertained for a long period of time. It's kind of like a Pokemon MMORPG that they know everyone wants, just with no online play. Like playing WoW without any other people to play with or FFXIV without the story. But there is just something about pokemon that makes me must have it. Seeing that Psyduck just sitting in the lake on that video was enough for it to be a day 1 buy for me. That's where this game truly shines. In displaying pokemon in their natural habitat. The art style is awesome in a way that's completely not-Pokemon, but the some of the textures are hideous. I don't know what universe we stepped into where this fangame was approved, but it's oddly exciting. Pokemon did use the soft C in Pokemon Battle Revolution and some other earlier media, but the movie, Pokmon: Arceus and the Jewel of Life, and Silvally's RKS system both use the hard C. Every single trailer for this game has also used the hard C. I don't think it's the big open world Pokemon game people hoped it would be.
