I don't think it's the big open world Pokemon game people hoped it would be. You'll essentially have a hub zone and drop into different maps like old-school MonHun games. Interesting. If this game turns out to be a sort of peaceful exploration type game (even with the hub and different maps like you say), it could be fun. I guess it sort of depends on how they balance battle content with other content. But I'd be happy to play a Pokmon game where finding, catching, and exploring play a larger part than just being the backdrop of a single player campaign and a multiplayer meta.
