I get that he was always a conspiracy nut but a lot of his mistrust in massive corporations was valid. It just feels strange seeing him not remotely middle of the road, but full blown right wing.

He played a bunch of movie characters who were super self obsessed and oblivious or otherwise unconcerned with the state of others wellbeing. And then he got dumped by Katy Perry for reportedly being like that in real life as well. It's about as surprising as finding out that the sun rose in the East and set in the West yesterday.

Is he? All his posts are pretty shamanistic. Hes super into meditation and eastern practices.

Ah ok, now I see what you mean. That is pretty wild. AFAIK no Democratic officials are anti-vax. As far as any Left parties, they dont make the news enough here for me to even know, lol.

e: Ok I checked the leftist party Im a fan of the Party for Socialism and Liberation and they are not anti-vax idiots or anything like that thankfully.

Jim Carrey was well known anti vax before Covid. He has made comments slamming Trump admins response to covid, but so far he seems to be staying quiet on covid in general and the vaccine.

Just say that people should reserve the term alt right for people who are actually alt right. Someone who you agree with on 95% of issues is not alt right unless you yourself are very right wing.

I'm sorry to inform you that but that's not an example of being alt-right ....try again...that's an article about a meathead comedian who got Covid-19 and used another avenue to take care of himself. If you actually listened to him you would know he's not even anti-vaxx, he encourages it to people who have co-morbidities.

Joe Rogan surviving covid with no lasting complications despite being unvaxxed should not be given as evidence of "other avenues to take care of himself". The guy was extremely low risk to begin with.

It's likely that his "another avenue" did fuck all to help. Maybe being in extremely top physical shape and generally just being one of the people who had no problems was the reason.

The right absolutely doesn't have a monopoly on anti-vaccine positions.

For a long time, it was largely a lefty position. Hippie Dippie bullshit about it being artificial toxins and chemicals, which are obviously bad for you.

He claims he's a libertarian, but he almost always slams on liberals. I get that there's a rotation on parties that get dunked on each term, but he's pretty sus about it and to me it comes off as borderline conservative. Not to mention he has a cult leader vibe to him.

There was this chick on my facebook I was trying to bang for a while and I was able to ignore the tarot cards and the astrology stuff but when she started melting down over covid and how we just need nature to heal us I was done, lol
