Beat another user's favorite game Braid This was free so I figured it must be worth a play. I don't love the character art and the way the story is delivered is pretty clunky until the end, but the gameplay is very solid. 8. Beat a spin-off or a game that rebooted a franchise Space Invaders Infinity Gene Also free, also fun for a quick shoot 'em up fix. 3. Beat a game released between 2002-2011 Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet (Moved Metroid ZM to Remake) Also free, a decent short metroidvania that has a couple of neat ideas but doesn't make enough of a mark to truly recommend as great. Not bad, though! 4. Beat a game released between 2012-2021 The Witness I paid for this one! Also made a topic about it. Great game. 12. Beat a game made by a developer you've never tried Joe Danger 2: The Movie And we're back to freebies. Again, a decent game but not one I'd pay for. 13. Beat a game made by an indie developer Celeste The platforming was a lot of fun! Sometimes dashes seemed to not go in the direction I was pressing but other than that it felt fair. I don't really care for the graphics but it doesn't hurt the game too much. Got 113 strawberries and died 2129 times. I haven't played Chapter 8 yet but I saw credits and an ending so I'm considering it beaten. Beat a game that starts with the first letter of your username Advance Wars: Dark Conflict The plot is bonkers in all the ways anime stuff usually is, which is odd considering how gritty it's trying to be, but the gameplay is decent Advance Wars goodness that scratches the right itch while Re-Boot camp is still stuck unreleased.
