I feel like a lot of modern elec have builtin surge protection. Computer PSUs (maybe you sacrifice the PSU, thats it), TVs, etc.

The one thing that STILL DOESNT, and this should surprise no one, are printers. The tech that never evolved past 1995 levels of engineering, other than to add restrictions on the user (i.e. DRM ink).

I recently got one of those Epson ecotank printers, I liked the idea of just filling my own ink and seeing what's in there instead of pissing through cartridges. It's nice for what I paid for it, gonna use it a while and keep my other on backup. I think that's really the only innovation I can think of for many years.

i have a basic HP inkjet, i think it was like $30 Canadian, which included the black and colour ink.

If i wanna refill ink, shit lasts for like 30 pages.

I did some digging on this actually. When they say an ink cart is good for "100 pages", they deem a page as something with no more than 4 lines of 12-point text. So basically, that's down to 20-25 full pages.

Even tried going to those mall kiosk ink refillers. Much cheaper, but i mean i think i got 12 pages out of the last refill lmfao

i just go to the library down the road, we get 20 free prints, and subsequent ones are literally cheaper than buying ink carts.

next printer i buy will be a laser. but tbh theres very few things in life that need to be printed, at least in my world.

I think they only made physical copies for their backers, but I can see them releasing more down the line. Maybe one will pop up on Ebay or something like that eventually. The game was awesome.

I do side work at home, I design and make menus, flyers, stickers, signs, business cards, whatever people need if it's within my capability, so I get a lot out of my printers. This one I got at the end of October and it came with "1 years supply of ink" and i'm already 3/4 done with it, so i'm figuring a full round lasts a couple months. I do design and advertising for my profession.

oh yeah, if you're doing that you not only use the printer, but you need a quality one.

Anyway just ordered me a hard drive. They're cheaper than when I got one for my ps4

They're called a UPS. Cheap ones go for ~$45. Worth it to protect your game systems from corruption when the power goes out.

I alway go for internal drives when replacing them cause I don't like the extra thing sitting on top of my game system. It is extra steps though so I can see why people would just want to use an external.

Walus, the big mean-looking motherfucker from the Polish circuit, was slapped by Zales - the guy who won the pay-per-view against Vasily a while back - and went down really hard. They had to put him in an induced coma in the hopes he'd recover and come out of it.

He never woke up. He died a month later, in December.

That really sucks. I remember hearing about him being in a coma. Its inevitable in this sport. Especially when it seems like its often totally open weight class.

I remember seeing a dude who was a good half foot taller than me but skinny af and just baby faced and pencil necked take on Vasily and I thought the guy would die but he didn't even get rocked.

He didn't damage Vasily anymore than a baby would have but I was surprised he stayed on his feet even though Vasily seems like he rarely goes all out against litter dudes.

I didn't ask what game he played but a regular came in for 800 dollars of Google play cards.

And he needed it all by sometime today for his game but Google took two and decided fraud was happening so I couldn't scan more for a half hour. So he got me to try random denominations till each one worked and he finally got his 800 spread over like 6 or 7 cards.

Now 11 quarters without a TD for the Saints. 15 quarters without a passing TD. Somehow in that stretch we beat Tampa 9-0 and are winning this game 12-10. Funny how it used to be Brees could light up the scoreboard but the defense would give up more, but now it's the opposite where we may have one of the best defenses in the league but the offense can't do jack shit.
