Should I get FFX?

Danganronpa or the Pixel Remasters aren't on sale this sale so not sure what to really get. Also should I get Dragon Quest XI for Steam or Switch? I think both are the DE editions.

Not really sure what else to think about. It seems really lackluster this year. Maybe I'll finally get CK3.

Also I got some Steam keys I don't need if anybody wants them.

Maybe. I didn't like the story I guess from the original. I never finished it.

Why not...it's a pretty good FF game (not sure how much they are selling it for) but I know you can get FFXIII for like $7.50 on Humble

FFX/X-2 is pretty good for $15.
Me I'm debating whether or not to pick up the Devil May Cry collection.

Great games, worth playing, so grab it for sure if you plan to play it.

Don't be like me, buying loads of backlog that will probably collect dust.

I've never played X-2. I don't remember how far I got into FFX itself. I wound up just playing Blitzball before moving on to other games.

I should have bought more during the Autumn sale but I assumed the same games I was going to buy would be on sale this time too. At least I got Saga Frontier then.

Bumping my Dragon Quest question anyway.

FF12 is also an option but that was the start of the shitty battle systems.

I have the PS4 version and I know that the Switch version at least has all the extras they cut out of ours :(

Most importantly is the option to play in a super old school 2D mode and a post game where you can go back and play through old DQ games somehow. I never looked a ton into it as I didn't want to be super spoiled on what exactly happens.

The original versions in Japan were PS4 and 3DS, the 3DS showing both 2D and 3D versions of the game and having the 2D exclusive dungeons. PC was a PS4 port. Everything else in the S version was later content.

I'm sad they cut out some content for the S version though. No more crossbow hunts or first person view for example, and it isn't quite as good graphically. And with it replacing the original release, PS4 / PC now only have the S version to purchase digitally.

They ported the Switch version to PC. If it's still missing content then I'll just wait and see if they add the stuff Delta mentioned later. Probably not at this point. I could always just play Arise.

They won't, that stuff doesn't work in 2D, it doesn't come to S

It is, you can swap between modes at any church I believe.

Sure, but they wanted feature parity, I guess, so the first person stuff was cut.

I'll just look around and possibly buy it anyway. I should do a deep look through my wishlist. I also have a bunch of Switch games to play now too. Had to buy All Stars through a third party.

Pillars of Eternity 2 for $10 base game. I would buy this if I had the time for a game like that. The first one was fantastic.
