Typically go to Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve every year, haven't gone since 2019 because of the pandemic.

now that I think about it, I think that's the last time I went to church...

I don't think I've ever been to a church that had a Christmas service on Christmas, unless it happened to fall on a Sunday.

My church cancelled their in-person services because cases are kind of exploding here. I considered joining a virtual one yesterday, but ended up not really having time.

Not so much these days. I used to be there pretty much every Sunday because I was in the choir, but then I moved away for a couple years (and never got around to finding a new church there) and moved back last summer, so Covid meant services were kind of sporadic and there wasn't really any choir stuff to do, so I've only been to a couple services since then. I kind of keep meaning to go more often, but our weekly routine now usually involves doing stuff on Sunday mornings (or if there's nothing to do, taking the opportunity to have a relaxing morning of doing nothing), so I'd need to make some adjustments to fit it in, and I still don't think there's much choir stuff happening.

Yes; every year, even sing in the choir. Though last year's was a virtual attendance since the church was on covid lockdown.
