The one across the street with me is always overwhelmed in terms of business and 95% of the employees are under the age of 20.

I get that but I feel like I'm out of the loop on the pipeline of their employment. Do Church groups just feed their children directly to Chic Fil A for low cost labor as some sort of service to god?

A lot of fast food places snag teenagers and college kids, so yeah, probably.

I work food service, but universally fast food is considered it's own entity, that you only work for if you're desperate or have no experience in the industry.

Their staff is consistently pretty young and they still have some of the best customer service in fast food. Go figure

I deliver for Uber Eats on occasion. Seems like a wide range of ages when I pick up orders from there.

everytime you buy food at chick fil a your money will directly go to organizations that work to actively make the lives of LGBT youth worse

I heard a lot of good things about Chic-Fil-A but I feel like it runs off too much temporary workforce for me to believe it's some hard truth. And yeah I think most long term higher ups and managers are religious. Kudos to them but not for me

It's really too bad about where their money goes. If not for that, it's a model fast food business-- good product, good customer service, entry-level jobs for teenagers (like fast-food is supposed to be)... instead of understaffing, they've got a swarm of employees prowling the drive-thru; oftentimes they'll bring you your food before you even get to the window.

Gotta balance out all of the good with some evil on the back end, I guess.

Dammit , I started to eat there when I heard they stopped supporting them. Their fries are so good. And in this age of the covid they have been the only place that hasn't sucked.... Oh well. I would cook at home before I support a place that hurts people .
