Ducky is not going for the obvious games/series.

Crystal Chronicles. Legend of Mana, Dragon Quest Heroes etc are not the more known ones like say Final Fantasy VI.

Also, @mrduckbear calling DQH2 a JRPG is bending the definition about as far as it can bend. (It is also only Published by Square-Enix, not developed, but no idea if that is relevant compared to the others)

Uh 10 is from Grandia right? As others have mentioned 7 is Legend of Dragoon. Both of these games were published by Sony.

I had to look up whether or not LoD was a property of Enix or not, but I got it right.

Funnily enough, they're the only character that I know.

7 is Lloyd from Legend of Dragoon. So that one.

I don't even recognize any of the other pictures and I've played FF 1, 6, 7, and Tactics and seen a fair bit of characters from 8, 10, 13, and 15 online.

I'm guessing Ducky meant a character who had nothing to do with SE. Whether the game was made, designed, published, etc... by Square at all... I'm thinking that's what he meant... So, it's possible there was a better way of saying it...

They are.
It's why Nintendo couldn't use them again in other games.

Would love to see a true sequel to Super Mario RPG w/ them back. But Square owns the rights to them.

well originally it was just #7 but i made a mistake with #10 since square did not publish the first grandia so i'll accept that answer too. but still almost 50% got it wrong
