Snake, if you want, you can keep Neon Graves - Sanctuary; including that song only puts you 27 seconds over, which is certainly close enough. Though if you'd rather use the extra three minutes on a different nom or just keep the list solidly under the two hour mark, you can as well. Just saying that you technically didn't need to cut that one.

Mega Mana, Spotify puts the length of the album at 37:52 (shorter than the Playlist time, but still longer than the quoted album time), -but- just about every YouTube link presents itself as being one second shorter whenever I click it on the phone (seriously; We Own It for example display as 3:47, until I click it and then after the ad the time will display as 3:46)... so my count has you a few seconds below your lowest predicted time, if those five seconds wind up meaning anything to you.

That's a bit longer than I was expecting, but I'll allow it. Partly because cutting anything ruins the nominating three albums aspect and partly because you asked nicely.

Also, when Murphiroth said his noms were 2:03, I thought he meant he was three minutes over and was somewhat grudgingly going to allow that before realizing he meant he was 3 seconds over.

...So, I don't want to have an official hard cap, but I'll apparently go up to three minutes over.

I am tempted to put Snake's remaining two noms in, but going up to nine minutes feels significant... I'll definitely listen and comment on them at some point, but I'm not quite ready to extend the nomination limit that far. Yet. Though if he asked, I probably would have, because I want a lot of songs and I owe him for being a regular supporter at every topic, but... eh, I'll figure it out later. Under three minutes over is good though. Probably.

Update tomorrow and I may start with a preliminary listen to some songs, as I tend to start my first listens before nominations close anyway.

give up to ten minutes over for 3 album noms as you can't cut out extra length and it can be difficult to min-max your album picks to get something you're happy with that exactly meets the limit

give up to the length of the shortest song over for individual song noms, under the logic that if they're <x> over, and they have a song that's larger than <x>, they can cut that song to fit. make the cap for this 3 or so minutes

I'd prefer people not replace songs I've explictly listened to (currently just the mentioned 10 songs), but I'd typically still allow it as it's my fault for listening before nominations were officially closed. Less progress tonight, only the first eight songs on UF8's list. In my defence, I'm also trying to get all my listens for the current Rank the Tracks album out of the way tonight, so I am listening to a lot of music in total.

I'd try to get a few more done today, but I kinda forgot to charge the tablet I'm saving all the data on and the battery is down to 18%... so I'm just gonna call it a night early and get this recharged before I risk losing any data.

Hrrrrm... might need to do some culling. Glad I'm on page to (by Ex-Norwegian :p) and have some wiggle room on what to excise.

Or maybe save some songs for the next list.
