That said, both cats have put her in her place and she's afraid of them lol. People who let their dogs run around without a leash shouldn't have dogs. A golden retriever almost killed my childhood dog when I was walking him about 15 years ago because we were in front of their house, their dog wasn't on a leash, and it ran up and started attacking my much smaller border collie mix. The vet just thinks she's a mix based on her height and the shape of her head. I immediately put her on my cities subreddit and my local NextDoor. I found through those that my state has a dedicated lost/found pet website where I posted her. That same day I took her to the vet to see if she was chipped, she was not. All of that was done within 6 hours of finding her. Then the next day I took her to the local animal rescue to be photographed and put on their website as well. They chipped her for free and said that if no one claimed her within 10 days she'd be ours and we could register her chip under our name.
