Do you agree that the Edgar haircut should be banned?


Its a hair trend, mostly with young Hispanic men. Its a polarizing hairstyle and one high school in El Paso, Texas wants to get rid of it, reportedly. According to a petition that surfaced on the internet, the petition calls the hairstyles distracting and disruptive for the classroom.

so basically some people want to pick a random thing that a certain latin subculture (young, urban, trendy men) is into, and ban it for no reason. They state a "reason", but "distracting to the class" is the catch-all for "we're going to ban it, like it or not. Want a reason? here's your reason".

It just looks like another version of a cheap ass "bowl cut". Some families can either only afford DIY haircuts or their kids grow out their hair so fast a simple cut is just more practical.
