so for example i dont have an issue with someone finding jotaro from jojo's bizarre adventure attractive because despite being 17 he is drawn to look 30
they are physically attracted to the image of an adult.

but id never think its ok to find a character like say Jr from xenosaga attractive who looks like a 12 year old despite being 30 cause his body stopped aging.

if you find him attractive you are still finding the image of a child attractive his fictional age does not negate that

Mods are always wishy-washy on high school-aged girls anyway. Like that whole thing with Error claiming "sexualizing Persona girls are okay" and completely missing that most of those are technically underaged too.

To be fair, in Persona 4 Arena a good number of P3 characters are legal adults, and the only thing that's changed about them is their costume.

A lot of lewd art is drawn off-model, too, which muddies things. Like most Pokemon characters are canonically and drawn as children, but fan-artists draw them with the bodies of 30-year-olds. It's weird.

I used hyperbole to try to show that we obviously can't tell 100% of the time how old someone is. I wouldn't date an 18 year old for example, but my neighbor might. I can think it's wrong but it's legal - which I may also not agree with.

That said...when it comes to fictional characters, I agree that age shouldn't matter. It's how the character is drawn and how they act. I don't care if that girl is supposed to be an adult, if you draw her to look like a child and act like one, she's a child. Because you're attracted to what you see. If you see a child and are attracted to that, uh...there's something wrong.

The guy's wording was definitely fucking weird, plus the fact that he felt the need to lie about his age made the whole thing even more creepier.
But like someone mentioned earlier, we see regular topics here about people wanting fuck, say, the Totally Spies girls who are also high school aged, and those topics don't face any consequences. Which is why this whole seems very inconsistent. And to be fair to the TC of that other topic -- creepy factor aside, he did specify Gwen from Across the Spiderverse, where she appears to be slightly older than she was in the first movie. I'm not sure how much older, or how old she was in the first place.

Totally Spies doesn't really count since they eventually graduate and the series continues they're adventures in college.

Well another popular one here are the Sailor Moon girls and they're suppose to be 14 in-universe.
The moderator above said that it's moddable if the characters are underage in the context of their respective show, and yet, no one has ever been moderated for lusting over the characters from SM. The whole thing just seems very wishy-washy when handing out moderations over.
