Kakapo 12/10/21 6:30:10 AM #1:	I feel like wallowing in dread and being generally miserable. Some requests, just so it's not a "guess what's in my head topics" like whoever it was with the riddles. Please, no heavy metal. While I don't dislike it, I don't think it's what I'm going for. I'll listen to Grind-Death-Speed-Prolapse Metal until the cows come home, but I'm not really in the mood. Please, no angst. Think more Nick Cave than Gerard Way, more Ian Curtis than the guy with the beard from the Used (can't remember his name but I keep thinking Sesame Street). More Leonard Cohen than... I've run out of comparisons to be honest. I don't mind a bit of angsty music when I'm in a good mood, though. No. Gloomy. Sunday. That said, I will listen to anything in good faith. I'll probably write a bit on what I think of it. Said writing may or may not make sense. Then, pull the sock and cigarette butts out. Drink the ashy water over three and a half minutes, but call it a cup of tea. That's what this cover did to the noble art of the good cover version.
