And then shortly after, it's "oh, he was just some B class character." Scotty_Rogers 11/30/21 9:46:05 AM #15:	Sensui had the potential to be even better than Toguro, but he just got really stupid with his random multiple personalities and Sacred Energy nonsense. Still, the Chapter Black arc could have redeemed itself at the end if Kuwabara was the one to kill Sensui with his Dimensional Sword and avenge Yusuke. Turning Yusuke into a demon wasn't even necessarily an issue, but randomly retconning to be part demon all this time was forced beyond belief. And the author was already burnt out by this point, so there was no reason to even continue the story for another arc after this; why pad the story out with all of these dumb retcons if you're burnt out and you're already at the end of the current arc? If you intended a character to be nothing but a dog in the beginning, but you reveal they're part cat later on, you retconned their background. By your logic, Togashi could have revealed that the whole story of Yuyu Hakusho was some crackhead's hallucination, and it somehow wouldn't be a retcon because it'd be explained in-universe.
