Have you ever worked on a conveyer belt before?

46 y/o Former X-Factor and America's Got Talent Reality star Thomas Wells was killed in a freak accident in Oklahoma while at work when he got on a conveyer belt for some reason and couldn't get off on time when he got trapped in the machine!!.

His wife, Jessica confirmed the horrific accident to TMZ when the amateur singer was working at a tire manufacturing plant and Jessica said parts of her husband's body was trapped in the machine that did not stop.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital and then airlifted to a larger hospital in Texas as specialists attempted to save him but he died shortly after

Jessica and Thomas have been married for 17 years who described him as a unique person who always had a smile and would bust out singing when given the chance

He made his debut in 2011 on X-Factor USA and then to other competition shows such as The Voice, America's Got Talent and The Winner is but unfortunately the self-taught multi-instrumentalist and former choir member never struck it big

A funeral was held last week by his friends and family

I'm guessing it was a stupid reason. Every place with a conveyor people -- excluding people mover at airports -- repeatedly warns to stay off the conveyor belt.

Factories are dangerous. My dad was an EMT in St. Louis back in the 80's before he was an ER doc and he had a horrific accident he had to respond to in a soap factory. In one of the vats a sheet of soap must have been caked onto the wall and went a worker stuck his head in to get a look so he could clean it out, the sheet dislodged, dropped down and sliced his head nearly in half. Shit can go wrong quick.

Then there's a number of things that have happened to people in the Lansing area in the Oldsmobile plant and other manufacturers. Mostly dismemberments that Dad had to deal with, but still awful.

Sorry, I can't not think of this though:

I've worked at places where they you can't have loose clothes, long hair and jewelry for similar reasons- getting stuck in the machine ain't no joke. My boss used to work at a heat treating plant and there are big furnaces that suck all the oxygen out that people have gotten knocked unconscious and died inside too.
