Hopefully Kellen Moore is available because him as the interim coach could operate as a pseudo job interview
Honestly, I kind of want Moore to just stay as OC for life and just have a HC that's good at clock and personnel management. That'd be ideal.

But Moore as HC would be fine too.

So next year hes probably not gonna be the consensus 1 overall for fantasy right

It seemed weird to anoint him this year but I guess there wasnt anyone close to his productivity in rushing and passing

WFT took 9 minutes to score a FG then gave up a TD in 2.

This is the formula that Washington has lost a lot of their games on.

Heinicke is here to decimate the division and shock the world

WFT's upcoming games:
Raiders
Cowboys
Eagles
Cowboys
Eagles
Giants

How does this happen?

Washington has over 40 minutes in time of possession tonight. That last drive against the Bucs unlocked Heinicke's clock killing powers.

So does Pete resign at the end of the season or do they fire him before that?

Also WFT's season may have just ended regardless. Their offense needs McKissic to function.

I think Seattle doesn't make any major changes, gets healthy in the offseason, gets their heads right, and runs into next season with Russ and Pete in a make or break year.

I like Heinicke too but would you be surprised if WFT lost any of those games?

I still think the Cowboys win the division even if it's not as smooth sailing as it appeared to be a month ago

Heinicke is a strange case of a guy who came right off the street (he retired after failing to find an XFL starting job) to immediately win a starting NFL job and never look back.

And he's earned it, plain and simple.

The division is still Dallas' to lose, though if WFT goes to Vegas and pulls it off there's something there. WFT ultimately lost itself too many games with it's offense imploding in the red zone. They had a good shot against both GB and Denver.

What a mistake by Gibson going out of bounds there.

Seriously, kick it. It's 20 yards. Make him do it.

I mean... I'm joking

but I do think they make it somewhat interesting. If Cowboys lose on Thursday to a depleted Saints team (even without their coaches) then you have cause for concern

Well, Cooper and Lamb will be back, which should help, although the defense was the problem against the Raiders. They've struggled since Gregory went down.

That was way too easy.

WFT is very dead if this goes to OT. No kicker, no McKissic.

WFT winning this game by only 2 points is a major problem though.

And I don't know exactly who it's on, but you can't put up 370 yards on 27 first downs and only score 17 points. 41:40 of possession time is absurd but they just don't score.

And the first TD drive they needed a phantom really late penalty flag to keep their drive alive before halftime.

Or we could take care of business against the Team!

Both are potentially good matchups for Dallas since they're anemic offenses that shouldn't be able to completely exploit our defensive deficiencies...!

Dallas' defense might be the perfect medicine for WFT to actually get it into the end zone, though.

WFT's offense isn't anemic really - they just can't finish drives. If they finish drives against Dallas, they're going to put up a bunch of points.

Scoring 24-27 points, is a perfectly realistic number. Dallas should be able to outscore that, though.

I don't think they can outscore Dallas if their offense is clicking. I guess the fear would be that they control the clock like they did against Seattle.

If Dallas can stop the run they win by double digits, if they can't stop the run it's a toss up.

If WFT doesn't have McKissic it's really going to hurt them. Their kicker is also out "at least" 3 weeks.
