I think we all know what went down and how it happened.

Believe it or not Im concerned about his parents. They took a lot of shit but I think they honestly were ignorant of all this. Even if he told them what he did when he first returned home after killing her how fucked up must they have felt. Im sure there was a conflict of wanting to ring his neck like, Didnt I teach you better than this but also the natural paternal instinct of wanting to protect their child.

And now they mourn his death just like Gabbis parents. All around tragedy.

No. Ive been advocating against violence. Just speculating on what mightve caused this.

Is it so far fetched to believe they had a spat and he couldnt control his anger and acted on it? I know I cant be the only one thinking it went down this way. Unless everyone else is convinced he was just a psychopath that killed her for hell of it.

the OP is advocating that one control their own anger, and that even if someone (who he angered) attacked him, it would not be his fault for making them angry. IE: one is responsible for controlling their own anger and their actions that result from it.

The fact that we are arguing semantics already indicates how boring the topic is, although it was pretty obvious to me Brian committed suicide when he wasn't found, but people wanted the epic conclusion to the story with a mangy Brian being pulled out of some type of makeshift fox hole by the FBI. We didn't even get the Brian gets eaten by the gator ending, so it was all pretty boring and anticlimactic, really.

What if you feel scared that the dude running at you with the knife screaming Im gonna kill you is gonna kill you? And then you get scared when he gets to you and raises his arm back? And then you get scared when he stabs you multiple times? Then can you kill him because if the way you feel?

I'm pretty sure you could kill them in that situation because he's attacking you... you could be looking for a fight and not be scared and still be justified in that killing
