And that's how you made a fallacy, see, because you answered it as if it was part of the first paragraph, it come across as if I didn't got the first part at all and contradicting myself, even though I was responding to someone that was simply establishing that "no one would care" by simply quote-mining that single part from your comment. However, what really come across from your comment was that "no one would care CURRENTLY" since you gave some directions as to what path to follow to reach that goal.

Not at all. You see, nobody's ever actually going to care about your collection. Even if you become sufficiently famous that people will care enough to watch a video, that's because they care about you and want to learn more in a weird celebrity worship sort of sense, not because they actually care about your collection.

Given that it's visual, I'd say probably IG or Pinterest -- although you've already discounted IG for... reasons? As a walkthrough, maybe YT. However, the problem with YT is that you might pick up no traction, whereas grouping is a bigger thing on a platform like Pinterest. However, presentation would really be key. A lot of gamers have large collections, so unless it's arranged in an interesting way, people just won't care. Keep in mind you're competing against people with entire rooms dedicated to games, often with collectibles to spice up the space.

A blog probably wouldn't work unless you have other stuff going on, particularly because you're less likely to just be found. Realistically speaking, you wouldn't just want to use *one* platform. You'd post your images to several, and then direct people to a YT tour (and vice versa).

And if you really want to commit to it, you could do regular content.

I'm not sure that's 100% the case. There are probably a lot of people who started to get attention through their collection rather just getting attention from nowhere and directing to their collection. However, it does need to be more than just a collection, unless it's one of the largest collections in the world.
