I just watched that play.

Basically, the refs inexplicably ruled forward progress on a play that was clearly never dead, and forward progress can't be reviewed so they couldn't fix it.

Essentially the refs stole an OT TD from Tennessee by just not doing their jobs right.

Good news, they held Bama to a FG so it might only be 24-3 at halftime now

It's great to see Michigan keeping it close, unlike that loser G5 team Alabama just stomped. This kind of thing is why only power conference teams should ever be allowed in the playoffs.

Obviously joking, but how long until someone in sports media says this and actually means it.

Depends on whether Saban yells at his defense for giving up any points at all like he did after the Mercer game

I'm a Buckeye so have lots of OSU friends and one of them has always insisted we only lost because the snow equalizing the playing field. Of course that's BS, we looked vulnerable all year (we were at the Oregon game, we saw it first hand!) and got bullied the shit out of on the day but he's now feeling vindicated.

I said all year I didn't want to see us play Georgia and I'm kinda glad. Maybe it wouldn't be this bad but it wouldn't be much better.

I do feel bad for my Michigan friend. Paid a fortune for sideline tickets for the game (which I'm sure he says was worth it) but then he did the same for this game too. Not just for him, for his wife and two kids. So I'm sure between the games he's 20-30k deep just judging from me paying $800 for midbowl tickets for the game years ago.

So this bowl season really showing how top heavy the SEC is.

And as an SEC watcher, I could've told you that...! Seriously though, you don't have 13 of the 14 teams become bowl eligible if most of the teams aren't basically the same.

Also Georgia has opened as a 2 point favorite for the rematch

Watching the Playstation Fiesta Bowl and these idiot announcers said it's factual that the SEC is the best conference in football because of yesterday. I got a good laugh. Two great teams does not make the rest of the conference great.

How soon we forget how bad the rest of that conference is, while the Big Ten is much more competitive.
