Windscribe typically. But I got in their lifetime deal a while back.

Used to use PIA. Tried Nord. Those two are similar.

There a ton of cheap ones that ain't bad too.

Edit: proton too. Free if not torrenting. Great for security.

I don't use one - my seedbox (and general avoidance of public trackers) provides me all the protection I need for regular activity and I've never really felt the need for one outside of that.

How does Proton work? Does it get in the way of torrenting or just not do anything to cover it? I figure torrenting is a pretty minor security concern for me.

It blocks p2p traffic (including torrenting) except on some specific servers that are only available to paying customers
