I didn't pay attention to what Hiyou META was until I got her today since I don't have the original, but cool it with the META carriers AL. 4 of the 6 being carriers is excessive. As is 4 of the 6 being Japanese lol.

Azur Lane; I couldn't care less about Dynazon/Gridman, but this collab event is very fun in my opinion. Great gear skins, unique ships and equipment that add fun skills, and grind-friendly maps too. I like that the ships aren't automatically trash tier for once.

RW; I had such a hard time on the 7th map of the event stage, but it definitely felt good to get past it. Got Meta and Ella recently, so I can begin building them. Cleared out the normal event shop, now to work on the hard version.

Priconne; About time they added Unique gear. Still mainly just mindless farming and dailies for now. I like that it's very low maintenance to stick with it.

Given recent leaks/datamines, my guess is Yamashiro META. It's possible her art is only for whatever the next event story is (like Yorktown META was), but since she was found with Hiyou META she's most likely next.

Does anyone know if you can change your name in Figure Fantasy? The fact that you get 2 10 pulls early makes for easy rerolling (I guess that article was written before those bonuses were added). But I hate when games dont let you have the same name at least some of them let you pay gems to change it, so you can change it to some random name and reroll with your preferred name lol

Fusou META wasn't a BBV, so I doubt that Yamashiro META will be. It'd be nice to be surprised though, given how lackluster all of the available BBV are.

Oh good you can just server hop to reroll in Figure Fantasy. I wonder if I need to change my name before I change servers or if its only one of the same name per server

I'm not really feeling the gameplay for FF. The story and stuff is nice, but the battles seem kinda meh, which, to be fair, is kinda expected from an idle game. I'll give it some time, but hearing that you need I think 18 dupes to max someone is scary :<

I deleted Figure Fantasy. I didn't find the battles entertaining, and apparently it uses the same limit breaking system as other idles like AFK Arena where you have to keep using fodder from the same faction (or in this case, manufacturer). These reviews are what sold me on that choice though

And jeezum crow, that new auto skip thing for Secret Territory in Alchemy Stars is awful. It usually uses 9 or 10 MS when I can beat the stages in 1 or 2 turns <_<

Yeah Figure Fantasy is a bit rough around the edges. I'll say I enjoyed those like puzzle sections where you have fixed goals and units to use. Those showed the potential of the battle system but in actual practice, there's not much reason to change your main formation around.

For AS, honestly if you do optimal ST, you end up with way more of its currency than you need for like 2-3 weeks. I'm fine with it being suboptimal I guess

Yeah, compared to other idle games this one actually had modes where you had to stop and *think* instead of just throwing the biggest/latest power creep at the enemies.

Unfortunately this only applies to a limited number of modes, and everything that *isn't* those modes is pretty dull or annoying. I think ultimately the whole "need 18+ copies to fully limit break" is what's killing my interest though.

I mentioned before that after dropping Princess Tale that I wasn't much inclined to play another idle RPG because there's certain core mechanics in them that I just can't tolerate for very long, and copy farming is one of them. But even compared to other idle games, Figure Fantasy takes it to the extreme, and even for all your efforts, some characters are doomed to obscurity due to rarity-locked level caps, and some were garbage right out the gate. (Why do these greens and blues even exist? They don't even have badass or waifu factor to redeem them.)

As if having less than half the stats of a maxed out unique wasn't enough they get no chain skills and no special ability and their party abilities are worse than half of a rare heroes ability for those rare heroes that have two party abilities.

Erina is a hard counter. On top of her element advantage, she takes two hits from the princess skill to get incapacitated as opposed to everyone else's one. If you don't have that, try using Nari equipped with an injury damage negate card.

PGR news on the CN side. A new Compositor, S Pulao, is coming out under the reformed system, so Team Kowloong is complete now. Global is a long ways off from getting her but I thought I'd share the demo as a preview of a future character we'll eventually get.

The rest is copypasted quotes regarding her, not my notes. Before you freak out about the -30% ATK debuff, Compositors have insanely high stat scaling. The devs could honestly make it -50% and it wouldn't make too much of a difference. The higher debuff is to avoid Compositors powercreeping normal S rank Constructs since you can now mix and match them.

PGR has now overhauled the Construct vs Compositer system. They are now all classified as Constructs, separated to two categories: General-purpose frames and Exclusive Zone frames.

Ex-compositers can now be played with constructs but the penalty is changed to -30% attack instead of -9% which can still be worked around with due to buffers and debuffers.

Pulao is a Physical S Exclusive Zone frame (i.e. a Compositor). The gacha and upgrade system still follow the compositer one. (1 copy guaranteed every 10 pulls in the gacha)

This is a beta test server so voice and sound effects are hidden.

For those who are confused, this is how Pulao works:
She has 2 ult states, the normal one used to perform her core gimmick, which required very little energy to initiate and the real one that can be activated by long pressing once the ult gauge is full.

She will pull out her weapon and throw it toward her target when you use normal ult. Once deployed, her weapon keeps swinging around the map, you can reactivate normal ult to recall it back to Pulao and she will perform the throwing move again. However, if you time a 3-ping of any color when Pulao makes contact with her weapon, she will kick it and dash toward her target, then you can smash normal attack button to perform her core passive combo.

Once the ult gauge is full, long pressing ult button to perform the real ult. Pulao will leap into the air and hurl her weapon directly beneath her, dealing huge damage.

Also, I'm not sure but apparently she can proc matrix by dodging her own weapon.

Any orb ping towards the weapon to trigger follow-up. Follow-up costs 50% gauge to do.
Dodging into the weapon triggers matrix.

So I've recently picked up a fun little game called Counter Knights. It's an equipment gacha and the small amount of waifus that exist are just support companion powerups but I appear to have found a game breaking bug where if you just exit the app without completing all the daily quests you can log back in and do them again ad infinitum and get like 250 gems each time.

An equipment pull is 30 gems and a companion pull is 50 gems so this is pretty substantial lmao.

There's no stamina or anything either just keep doing it as much as you want.

Yeah, that's the reason why I limited myself to only the three gacha games I enjoy the most. I want time for other things and not have a shallow experience with the gachas I play, i.e. limiting myself to only log-in bonuses and dailies while I try to juggle everything. I learned that the hard way, since I'd be playing around six to eight gacha games if I could. There are quite a few good ones out there. FOMO can be a bitch sometimes! lol

Yeah I have 9 games but only really "play" 4 of them: Alchemy Stars, Azur Lane, PGR, and PriConne. They're the only ones that I actually try to make progress in, while the others are basically just for dailies and in case something cool pops up, I'll be ready.

Should I give the gear lab magnetic torpedoes to Prinz Heinrich instead of Agir since she has a higher torpedo stat? I figured I would give them to Agir since shes my favorite vanguard ship, but if shes not going to make the most of them, Im wondering if I should just give her the regular ones. She would be last in line for the gear lab torps if thats the case since Mainz also has a higher torp stat :<

A game that I play (Revue Starlight ReLIVE) did the opposite, where it's had real-time PvP since day one but they recently added a separate "star arena" that's the same kind of non-real-time PvP that most other games have. I still won't touch the main arena, but I'm kinda half-trying this new arena by putting it on auto for the 6 battles a day you get. It's free star gems and free rebirth materials for little effort, and I don't really care how many I win or lose.

What I hate about Guardian Tales is that you lose points when you lose, be it attacking or defending. And there's a daily for gems where you need to do 3 attacks, so unless you're sure that you can win, it's best to just not attack and keep your current place <_<

Da Vinci and Philip II? Yeah, that's the best set for that frame if you aren't going to use her for damage. That set emphasizes healing and QTE skills. That's what I'm using on her myself.

If you, hypothetically, were going to use her as a backup damage dealer (she's not terrible), you'd want the Darwin + Leeuwenhoek set instead. Note that you can't even get Leeuwenhoek memories until S Rosetta comes out.
